Too many people were bigging him up at the end of last season saying we didn't need to buy anybody, but he's still a kid learning his trade and, at the moment, I don't think this situation is helpful for him. He's looked poor on most occasions so far.

That's exactly my point - he shouldn't be anywhere near the first team yet and I really hope it doesn't impact his development. It's not his fault he's been thrown in at the deep, after all.

Basically it seems we've gone from guy in box makes the decision over the ref to a situation where they won't make the decision and get the ref to question his own decision EVERYTIME! That wasn't clear and obvious so should never have got to the ref looking at it. Pathetic.
