Thinking ahead to Sunday, Firmino or Jota is Klopp's first major selection headache, isn't it? Up until last season the first team has been excellent with a decent squad behind it but certainly the front three picked itself automatically. Now there is quality throughout, even with injuries, and Jota has surely played himself a starting place, depending on the gameplan for City.

Have a feeling Bobby will start because of his pressing contributions, but doing so and another defeat at City where the side hasn't won in the league since 2015 may see a bit of flack headed Klopp's way. Not that he didn't handle the Jota/Firmino question well after the Atalanta result, and this is surely a welcome problem to have. Yet this weekend could be a quietly pivotal moment in the team's shape and future development, particularly if the front three becomes a rotated four.

Excited to see what team gets announced :)

This is one of those formations that could go either horribly wrong or perfectly right. I’d have replaced Firmino with Jota, just because our traditional attack hasn’t had much luck at City recently. This is obviously designed to throw a spanner in the works for City’s pre match preparation, has anyone ever travelled to City in recent years set up so attackingly? Fingers crossed that it catches them off guard

I'm really enjoying the match, the system is excellent to watch. Jota and Mane need to keep their discipline and continue to get back to make the four in midfield when setting up to defend.

That Jesus touch and finish was absolutely brilliant.

Good point. As soon as TAA went off what was left of the counter attacking threat went with him, Milner always turned backward to pass when he had the opportunity cross. Hopefully Thiago will be back after the international break to add more cutting edge to the midfield but a solid performance.

Did anyone else consider the Firmino sub the turning point? The press struggled at the beginning of the second half but after he went off it dropped off a cliff.

A point away to City is a good outcome. Would have taken that before kick off.
