Well they need to replace Silva, Fernandinho and Sane; probably like to replace Otamendi, Walker and Stones if they could and there's paper talk about Aguero departing too. They have an aging squad too, don't forget, and Foden getting more games isn't going to fix their problems. They do build their depth up - just as we do.

Point is, they shouldn't be needing to rebuild after the money they spent. They should have had the players in place to bring in, so maybe replacing one or two each summer / window. Not a multi-million pound rebuild in one summer to close the gap.

Time to wake up. We're playing this like a pre-season friendly.

To be fair... it kind of is. Records are nice, but I want everyone through the rest of the season without injury more than anything. We have time to prepare for another attack on the league next season.

We'll come back into it in the second half though, likely still lose, but at least keep it respectable.

This will have everyone saying they’re better and should have won the league etc. Tiresome and it’s disappointing we’re giving them that because you knew they wanted it.

Let them have their moment.

 Oh come on. If the title wasn't won already and it was on the line, it would be a different game. It'll be a case of "you've had your fun and you got punished, now sort it out for the rest of the season... but for christ sake, don't get yourself injured'

No it won't, don't be silly.

And I think all posts suggesting Liverpool has taken their foot off the gas/partied too much etc are rubbish. They want to win, you don't be a great team without wanting to win every game, no matter what you've won. Klopp won't settle for that and the players won't either. The difference so far has been the final ball and some sloppy defending - City's passing is just a bit better. The press has been good still but in these games the small margins make a big difference.

It's not that they don't want to win, but how much do you risk now? They will be a little off the pace after celebrations and being able to just enjoy it for a bit. City are sharper that's for sure. Robbo is clearly not the player he has been all season, but boy has he earned an off night.
