Was that Owen chat the one where he said he was playing with half a hamstring from age 24 onward and was constantly terrified of it going and had to force himself not to sprint? That was fascinating. I know people love to hate him, but the last 5 years or so must have been hard and credit to him for keeping at the top for so long I guess.

 

He was some player early 2000s though. Makes you think what could have been if he had the machine like genetics of a Ronaldo.

No, it was this one:

 

He really was a good player for the first 5/6 years though, yes. I thought he was good on Gary Neville's Soccer Box, too, where he talks about how he wanted to come back to Liverpool and tried to make it happen a few times.

 

You have to wonder how far he would've gone at club and international level if he could stay fit (I forget he was only 28 when he got his last England cap).

Chelsea fans must be really annoyed the commentators keep talking about Liverpool as well.
