Robertson is due back Wednesday. He was essentially rested due to not having completed a full training this week and Klopp distinctly aware of the quick turnaround in games.

Our record at Goodison at the best of times is poor so I think Klopp maybe just being clever here. Hopefully Millie and Joel are ok.

We were abysmal yesterday. So bloody boring.

It's disappointing that he knows how the derby games have generally gone at Goodison - with the crowd playing a part - and yet didn't dare to be a little more expansive at the start. It was good to see Minamino get a start, but I don't think the system helped him. I'd have probably kept him on and stuck him in Bobbie's role (as he wasn't having a great game), then brought the Ox on.

I'm just a bit bitter because there were all these records we could still get - most wins in a season, most points, biggest winning margin, most away wins etc and we're in danger of dribbling over the line and not getting any of them, which would seem a bit of a slap in the face considering how the first 29 games went (and I'm still really annoyed by the Watford result, that was a record I really wanted us to get.)

I know it's being silly - the title is all that matters, who cares how we get there etc but being this close to holding so many different records at once - some which could stand for a very long time - and failing would almost be a different kind of (irrelevant) "choking".

Bah, I'm just in a sour mood today.

We've ran them ragged tonight, the lads are back to their usual selves. Thats Everton game really was just them getting the game back into their legs it seems.

I do hope City win tomorrow though, I want the lads to win it on the pitch.

Everyone purring over City after our warm up game at Goodison. We answered well I think.

I am closer to believing we might win it, but whilst it is still mathematically not won, if can still go completely wrong. I mean, Boris and co trying to cause a second wave to shut it all down again.

Best team performance since the 4-0 at Leicester. Light years difference to Sunday but Goodison (and Old Trafford) have rarely seen the team really play well in recent years.

Opening them up like Augustus Gloop cracking into his Easter eggs.
