In some ways I’m sort of glad this has happened. Get the title done now, and play some weakened teams, hopefully concentrating on Champs and FA Cup (although if we play anything like this against Chelsea or Atletico we’ll be out of those in the next couple of weeks!)

Very poor performance, no patience in the final third where Watford sat the entire team when defending. Rushed final passes and crosses into congested areas that weren't really viable.

Watford played the perfect counter attack and Liverpool didn't look like scoring at all in the entire match.

Fair play Watford, the makings of that result were formed at the Anfield match where it was a lot tighter than the 2-0 suggested.

Teams lose, we had to eventually. It's easy to blame just Lovren and whilst he was crap so was our whole team. Nothing creative going forward and full of mistakes at the back. These things happen, and whilst going undefeated would have been nice, I only ever cared for being the league winners. We're still 22 points ahead and still gonna win the league. Just write it off as a bad day and the opposition being much better. Credit to Watford.

UP THE REDS.

I am mainly happy to come clean about my losing predictions. Whilst it was working, I wasn't stopping. Go back through the season and the games I didn't make a prediction in, we drew or lost I believe. Honestly, I am not a negative person when it comes to this sort of thing

i say this as someone that genuinely could not give a toss who wins the premiership , but I think you guys are pretty safe . Forget the unbeaten record , forget point tallies

Statistically speaking , going unbeaten in an entire season is incredibly unlikely , hence it’s very very rare . I think that a drop off was inevitable at some stage given the level Liverpool have been playing at for the best part of 18 months . I do think they were poor for 60 mins against West Ham and really didn’t look like scoring at athletico . But let’s face it , you lot can still lose 6 more games and be champions and realistically that isn’t going to happen . I think the last week will actually do Liverpool some good in terms of refocusing , especially at a fairly critical point of the season . It has however exposed some weaknesses with the gap left by Henderson and I think also you missed Milner to be able to come on and give a bit of bite and energy .

@bradigor good effort with your superstitious predictions !

I know it’s been an amazing season so it seems silly to say, but the last three games have been pretty unprofessional performances. It’s like they finally believed they’d won it and have just stopped.

If Lovren ever plays another game for us I’ll be amazed. Surely we’ve seen enough now.

As a hater of Henderson, maybe you can now clearly see what he does for the team.  He brings stability, forward (yes) momentum. He galvanises the defence and attack together.  He is integral to this team, and the last few games without him has shown this.

You do not need to be the best player on the pitch to be the most important.  The captain of our club is there for a reason.

12 points to go, not done yet.

 I think 'bullshit' is a bit far fetched, ok so you've calmed down with berating him but many many of your posts over the last couple of years have been negative towards him, wondering why he gets in the side. Maybe "hating on him" is too far from me, but it's not meant as you actually hate the guy.

This is a shame, but good luck to Neil Critchley. Hard to resist a head coach role I suppose, but he will be missed. Hope the door is always open for him. What he did with those U23s and especially this season when they had to step in, has been something we should never forget. Good luck at Blackpool.

Willian is just one of those players that always seems to get the run of the green against us. Overall, we've been the better team, and I think Chelsea will tire before we do. We've just looked less desperate with our defending than they have, and luck doesn't last forever.
