Good controlled performance today. The nature of the fixture means United are going to have periods of play where they look slightly threatening but they were limited to 2 decent chances the entire match, one in each half.

Again though I felt Lallana's introduction was probably the wrong choice. It's not the time to complain though, 21 wins out of 22 is amazing. The best Liverpool I've witnessed.

Felt there were two or three gears Liverpool could have moved up today. They’re a joke of a side. Can’t remember a worse United team at Anfield, they’re awful. 4 or 5 would have flattered them.

Reds, after a ragged opening 10 minutes, grew into the game and could (should) have been out of sight by 30 minutes, let alone half-time. They’re lot huffed and puffed, but bar that Martial shocker, did nothing to cause much alarm.

Can’t wait to get back to Anfield next month, place should be buzzing.

Should of been less stressful that, they are even more  rubbish than i thought, if youre old enough to remember the Roy Evans era like me this team is only 4 points off now from Evans title challengers in January and they were a good side

Liverpool under Evans were so much fun to watch. This team is fun to watch and can defend too.

I thought the Ox was immense today. Lallana had a tough act to follow but it was a noticeable step backwards when he came on. Worked out alright though!

Lallana confuses me so much.  Some days he’s fantastic, some days he’s worse than me.  Dunno what to do with the lad

I do occasionally wish we had City's clinical edge when they were at their peak and just batter sides and be three or four goals up by half time. At least this way the games are still interesting even though Liverpool only need 10 more wins to seal the title.

I think it'll return later in the season. The current situation is about winning every game, by whatever means. We are clearly not pushing forward as much as we have previously.
