Happy with the starting line up but even happier with Fabinho and Matip returning to the match day squad.

 

Last week, against Tottenham, the Lallana sub was pretty much the only option in midfield and it didn't really do what was required. This week the changes, when they're needed, should be much better.

 

Never confident against United but this is the best I've felt before a United match ever, I think.

We've been a little slack at times with the ball, which has allowed United to come into it. Yet we've been all over them. Other times we have played sublime football.

Nice to hear Keane and Souness telling it like it is. Utterly bizarre decision. If they call that a foul, they need to be clear that keepers are untouchable and cannot be challenged for the ball. If that is two outfield players jumping for the ball, play on 100% of the time. I really hope that an official statement is made about it because it sets a precedent that any attacker jumping for the ball, and coming in to contact with the keeper is a foul.
