Mignolet must be kicking himself - or, at least he would be if he were still a Liverpool player. Seems we're cursed.

If he was and did he’d probably dislocate his own knee at the rate our keepers are falling.

Taking my boots to the Arsenal game.

Southampton have been pressing extremely hard and playing very well, I can't see them keeping that pace up for the full 90 minutes though. I think Liverpool have done well to weather the storm given how knackered some of them must be. What a stunner from Mane though, absolute gut punch for Southampton who have been so dominant for most of it.

This game is like my kitchen sink yesterday - all blocked up and slow moving and then at ‘half-time’ the plumber came and hoovered out the pipes and now it’s all flowing nicely.

The worrying thing is that the exact same thing happened in the first half and he didn't learn from it then. He wants waaay too much time on the ball, it's scary.

Also Ings missed an absolute sitter there.

Much better second half with a needlessly nervy ending.

A fortunate win in the end after Adrian decided to make it interesting. Basically we just need to somehow keep outscoring the defence until Alisson comes back because comedy goals thanks to mistakes are inevitable.
