It was such an unusual cross in for the goal, I reckon almost everyone else in the stadium was expecting a lobbed ball to the far post. Watching it repeatedly and still can't work out how he saw the gap.

It’s a ridiculous pass. Trent’s at the point where the sublime is his norm. Such a pivotal player for the side.

Just spent 20 odd minutes watching youtube clips of Minamino. He looks a steal at 7m and very much a Klopp type of player. (fast, quick thinker, strong and positive).

 

I hope he does well. I like that he smiles a lot too.

The strongest available team for sure. Should be a decent game against a team I know absolutely nothing about. A victory would be nice and a draw between City and Leicester would be good too.

This is supposed to be the pinnacle of club football yet FIFA have allowed a ref from a footballing backwater to take charge.

 

If they want a wider audience to take this more seriously they need to appoint top level officials.

This ref is a joke. Gives them a free kick in the penalty area against Henderson because he's been dragged down and lands on their player. If anything it's a penalty.

VAR is in operation during this game. I'm not sure how they haven't stepped in yet.

Firmino is the best player on the field, how we're not leading this is way beyond my understanding.
