Haven't been in this thread for an age, but was coming to ask exactly that - how is that even a VAR check?!

 

Edit: And it means it was a very muted celebration for what was a bit of genius because they had to wait for it to be given.

 

Anyway, poor performance, Watford should've had about 5 if they could actually finish. Mane has been great again though and both Salah's goals were great.

Needs to be two players behind the ball, one is almost always the keeper as he’s furthest back, in this case the player on the floor was furthest back so they had to check the defender/keeper had played him onside

We have 5 days between the final (if we get there) and Leicester so in reality we're only playing 1 extra game than we would have between now and then had we not been at the CWC. I think that Semi will be a right a mismatch of players too.

Yeah, West Ham away is the postponed league game. Youth and reserves would have played at Villa even without the FIFA Big Shiny Pot Jamboree.

 

Norwich just held Leicester to a 1-1 draw, which is nice.
