We're apparently signing Takumi Minamino in January which, if true, I'll be very happy with as he impressed me during our games against RB and I commented when watching that I'd like him to come to us. Bargain too if the price is to be believed.

If he win's the title this year, maybe we could make him leader of the labour party too. He clearly knows how to turn underachievers into winners whist going against the populist blue opposition with shady backgrounds and morals. Pretty good at staying in Europe too.

I wonder if Van Der Berg gets game time before the new year. See if he can be used rather than making a CB signing to cover injuries. 
 

Matip and Gomez strike me as being out at some point most seasons and we still need an upgrade on Lovren.

I genuinely welled up at the news. This club means so much to me, especially over a shitty last few years, and having the possibility of that beacon shining a little longer overwhelmed me a little bit :wub:

Wondered the same. One thing Ferguson did so well at United was continually refreshing his squad at the right time. Wouldn’t be surprised to see a couple of senior players leave next summer, with new arrivals and fringe players stepping in.

The atmosphere in Anfield today will be one of defiant celebration. Merseyside is one of the few staunch Labour territories, add in a beloved manager announcing he’s sticking around a few more years and reckon it will be rocking.

 

Score reasonably early and Watford will get a tanning.

Narrator: It wasn’t rocking at all.

 

Watford doing a good job of slowing the game down at the minute and make things frustrating, only compounded by some sloppy passing by Liverpool.
