We avoid the dream team of Atkinson, Taylor, Moss for the game vs City.

We have Michael Oliver in the middle with Paul Tierney on VAR duties.

Looking at it, there is No Atkinson / Taylor combo in any of the weekend games.

A clean sheet would be a nice starting point. But wouldn't be surprised if City win, then we win at their place later in the season. Feels suitably massive and unpredictable though, even the bookies have it too close to call.

Even without a ticket would have loved to be around the ground for the (hopefully without incident) welcome both teams will get. Klopp asking everyone to get in early and make Anfield shake. Expect a big performance on and off the pitch.

BeIn have a countdown to kick-off clock up

They also had previews during half-time of Chelsea Palace yesterday and pretty much every opportunity when there weren’t goals to show, instead of analysis of the on-going games.

Nailed on 0-0 with that much build-up.

What a half, bloody hell I don’t think I blinked. Wijnaldum playing out of his skin. Fabinho too. It never ceases to amaze me the tight spaces those guys manage to squeeze out of. Those  passes for the second goal.

Couldn’t possibly call how this is going to end but 2-0 at half time is a damn fine start.

Just now, CheekyLee said:

If Aguero plays the ball when it falls to his feet instead of screaming for the penalty, he scores. There's a reason you teach kids to play to the whistle.

It would have then been ruled out... but it would have stopped us going up the other end and scoring. Instead he just chases the ref 90 yards screaming, rather than defending.

Still nervous about this one.
