I hope Klopp's got some good bollocking's in him because it's time to unleash one. We've looked shit again since the initial new manager burst.

What new manager burst? He didn't win for his first 4 games, then we had a good little run and now we're back to looking unlikely to ever score again. In all honesty, we've only really been good in 3 of Klopp's games, haven't we? City, Chelsea and Southampton. Every other match has been a real struggle with some very average performances.

It's incredibly frustrating that we're making a complete and utter hash of these December games which should, on paper, have yielded far more than what (currently) stands as 1 out of 9 points. That's awful and in a season that is so open it just feels like we're throwing away a great chance to get back into the Champions League.

I can't see how Sakho can take too much criticism, he's been thrown into this game off the back of an injury because of what happened to Lovren. It's clear to see he has no confidence in Bogdan either, normally he's happy to use the keeper as a simple pass, but today he'd rather try to wriggle free and find someone else.

Yes, I actually agree but it's still a little too soon to criticise Klopp for most people. It is of course, but I'd have hoped to see more than that little 'burst' I referred to by now. Or at least be starting to see it. I can't see how this team is any different to how it was under Rodgers when we'd also get the odd great result against a big side. I do hope Klopp is given a long time because he's going to need it and I do think he could do something, it's just going to take a lot longer than some people think.

Sakho, who'd changed my opinion of him earlier in the season, is showing why I'd had that opinion in this game.

The question soon won't be if Bogdan is any better than Mignolet but rather is Klopp any better than Rodgers? He probably will be but he'll need a much better team to demonstrate it.

Yeah, I'm not criticising Klopp at all - he's had a very unbalanced side to work with and we still have some of the same issues that plagued Rodgers, namely that we just don't look like scoring, we're awful at set-pieces, both our goalkeepers aren't good enough, our centre-backs get bullied too easily by physical players and confidence drops too easily. And we don't win at home.

I wonder if he'll thank the fans after this game? He should, to thank those travelling to watch such tripe.

Top 4?

More likely for Watford than us at the moment ;)

Still, even with the horrors of the last 3 games, we're still not out of it - 5 points off the pace at Christmas is nothing, really. But again, just increases the frustration that even had we managed 5 points from these 3 games, we'd be joint-4th on goal difference.

I wonder how much investment FSG will be prepared to put in next month? I certainly would expect a fair turnover in the summer.

Starting without a striker is fine, if the top-3 you are playing offer some goal threat. But Lallana rarely scores, Firminho rarely does anything and Phil either is the only creative outlet so he either needs to be setting them up or scoring a screamer himself - and that makes it easy for teams to shut him down because Lallana and Firminho aren't going to hurt you.

Still, Watford totally deserved it and from the kick-off they closed down, stopped us getting going and got an early goal to knock the confidence out of everybody. Great performance from them.

Pretty much what I feared happening did happen, replacement keeper being shit and rivals losing then we do the same next day

It's no mans land, thrash Chelsea, City, Southampton, then games like this and Newcastle, what is this team??

Such arrogance - Watford have won four in a row and are above you.

How can the players justify being paid all that money when they can't even beat fucking watford? It's embarrassing.

It's matches like these when I begin to wonder how some sunday league player would fair in the first team, given the opportunity.

You do know that across the whole season Watford have been, well, better than Liverpool?

Disappointing loss but some people are acting like we've just lost to a League 2 or SPL team. Watford, and Ighalo, are having a great season so far and were always going to prove difficult. Would have been happy if we'd managed a draw.

Hopefully the Bogdan fuck up persuades the club into getting a decent keeper in January.

That was very much a performance of the recent Rogers era .

Sakho looked rusty and almost everyone else bar Lucas, who was the only one to have played acceptably from a Liverpool POV , was ineffective, Watford bullied Liverpool all over the park and deserved the win

Bogdan obviously had his confidence affected but looked poor regardless, anyone think that Henderson's return has unbalanced or unsettled the midfield ?
