Stinker of a draw considering the teams we could have got. The only all Premier League match. If we want to win, we're gonna have to field a strong team. It's in between Swansea at home and Newcastle away. Hopefully we'll have a few players back by then.

Thought Firmino, Clyne and Ibe were our best players last night.

Ibe continues flattering to deceive, I think. He went on some good dribbles and runs last night, but he had no end product, and that's the problem.

As I said before the game, there was little goal threat in that side and so it proved. I mean, goal aside, Bournemouth had the better chances we never really looked like grabbing a second despite some decent passing around/outside the box.

I thought Ibe did well last night and looked like his end product was better than usual. I can remember a few balls that were inviting someone in the middle to finish them, stuff that he cant control.

Nothing came from his work but he was putting the ball into the right places and beating his full back all night, which is something he wasn't doing regularly in the past.

I didn't like fans building up Ibe so much in the summer - like saying it didn't matter selling Sterling because Ibe would be better. He's still only young, and he needs a few more years to develop.

It's like Origi - he's only going to get better by playing in the first team, but because we as fans want success right now, it's difficult to want to give him that time.

We should have sent Ibe back out on loan and kept Markovic who always looked threatening when he had the ball.

Lol think that's a case of absence making the heart grow fonder. Markovic was pretty inneffectual in many game (he also had flashes of brilliance) but let's not kid ourselves that he was anything like a finished product!

Moreno latest player to have a little dig at Rodgers. I bet more would like to. Especially all those committee signings that Rodgers mistreated to satisfy has ego.

On Markovic and Ibe, maybe if they weren't being played out of position at right back all the time, we would have seen more of what we expected from them.

He's a malingerer. There are those players that always seem to be injured and I think it goes beyond bad luck. It gets to a point where questions need to be asked.

I wonder how many of these players would be perpetually injured if they went on statutory sick pay after two weeks like everybody else does. I genuinely think they should, it's not like they couldn't cover themselves for any periods where they're on £30 a day for a while but it might change their attitudes.

Haha shut up grandad.

Feel bad for Liverpool fans with Sturridge, it's so frustrating. Potentially World Class but cannot stay fit for long. It happens to some players after a certain point the body just says no to the general physicality and training demands of the sport. Ledley King, Owen Hargreaves, Michael Owen, Louis Saha to name some. I doubt we'll ever see Sturridge go on a run of 15 games or so again.

"Where are the goals in this Liverpool team"

Well our 3 main goal scorers are injuried/not 100%, what does he expect? Yeah our midfield should contribute more but we aren't going to be getting 15+ goals from them, most teams don't get that either.

Whose the third bellend on commentary?

"Jurgen Klopps decision not to play a front man has let Chelsea off the hook"

Having a front man doesn't stop our defence or keeper being shit.

It doesn't, of course, but without one our midfield are hurrying passes a bit more and the runs aren't as intelligent. As they say, defend from the very front.

Trevor Francis.

I agree with him though, on both points, and it was an issue last season too - the rest of the team don't chip-in anywhere near as many goals as they should (Coutinho being a prime example) and whilst nobody would expect the rest of the team be able to take up the slack, they should be doing more than they are.

As for Benteke, as I said in midweek, I would have started him and had him come off, rather than hold him on the bench. Though I suppose we don't know just how unfit he is.
