Hopefully it's the end of the leaks and Klopp has indeed locked it up. It's the first week this season that the guy has been wrong, so I'll continue to post it if he has it, but obviously take with a pinch of salt from now on. Sorry again, I've let the forum down. :P

So, reasonably tight defensively (though Southampton still have had the best chances), but never look like scoring. And for however much we can point at a lack of strikers, every team needs all players to chip-in and that's just not happening and isn't good enough. It seems everybody is trying to play that killer pass in the box, but the problem is that everybody is too central. At times the passing has been sharp, but it's not been in dangerous areas and there's so little width.

I feel for Origi, because he's getting no service to work with, although in truth his touch isn't great and he's not passed well when the ball has gone in to him anyway.

Our set-pieces are so, so bad. We should ask to swap any corners we get for throw-ins.

Much the same for this half in the rest of our play, too. Still no width, still too slow, still to create much. I'd be very interested in the chance creation stats for Coutinho,and Lallana over the last season and a bit and how they compare to others in the league, because it doesn't feel like they create enough considering they are both talented players.

And so the drudgery continues. Aside from a good 20-25 minutes against Tottenham, we've not looked particularly good for a long time now - certainly not exciting to watch. I don't know how Firminho, Coutinho and Lallana can all fit into the same team together and I'm not sure what roles Can and Milner are meant to be fulfilling.

Another frustrating display.

Can't see your manager having much of an effect, the team just isn't that good.... I'm very happy with the point, thought you lot would bet us 2 or 3 nil...

its only been 3 games, injuries haven't helped nearly all of our attack is fucked! The captains injured aswell

We were better in 1st half, you looked much better when benteke came on...I can see him going for a pretty penny to a top club in a few years....the rest just looked *meh*

well ok but I'd give him a good grace period until at least January, meh is better than shite :)

I think a big positive out of this is Lucas, he has been excellent since Klopp arrived. For a player who has supposedly been on his way out of the club for the last two summer transfer windows he has filled the role asked by Klopp very well.

The problem at the moment is that there is a distinct lack of creation coming from the team, the approach play and control of the game seems better under Klopp right now and the defensive situation is also a lot better but the final phase is currently lacking. That also makes sense considering the new management structure for the team will work from the back as they try to get their ideas across to the team.

Lucas has been excellent.

I think the lack of creation comes down to Coutinho being completely out of form.

He just didn't look happy yesterday either. Usually when we score, the smile is as wide as the Mersey tunnel, but not yesterday. Hope there isn't something else there and it's just that he's miffed with his form.

Thought Firmino looked good when he came on. Lallana is improving too. Hopefully these two, along with Milner chipping in can carry us through until Coutinho is back in form.

Moreno has to be the most improved player though, he had some dodgy crosses yesterday, and shots, but defensively he looks a different player this season. Give it 2-3 years before he's off to Barca or Real. :mellow:

It's someone I know, he probably gets it from the same fella though, considering it's been the same team and we both got that team this week.

I've never posted it on my Twitter account as I don't think it's helpful for thousands of people to spread the team news each week, but I don't mind posting it here as it's only a few people and nobody is taking much notice of this section of the rllmuk forum.

Hopefully it's all at an end now though.

Just got Coutiniho & Firmino in my current LFC Squad in Fifa 16 :)

Only Sturridge left to buy.

I had to convert Firminio from a CAM to a ST so I could have a 4th striker.

Now just need to wait till the mid-season update to get Klopp for manager.

It'll be interesting to see what happens once Henderson's back. I'm not sure how he gets the best out of what we have without bringing in some pace on the wing and a brain* in midfield. I'm impressed with how solid we look - yep, we threw away another lead but we aren't giving away chances for fun any more and he's already addressed the issue of space between the lines. It's hard to predict who will make way but I think Lucas has been great since Klopp came in, so I'm hoping he'll keep his place. Milner to move to the right of a 4-2-3-1, with Can dropping to the bench, for me.

*I'm just putting this here in order to will it into a possibility: Granit Xhaka and Franco Vasquez please, committee.
