Weirdly, Bild (a German newspaper) are saying that Klopp will need to work with the existing coaches, rather than bringing his own in - whereas the English papers are saying the opposite.

Just gonna throw it out there: Perhaps he's going to work with some of the existing coaches, and bring some new ones in.

Some coaches, but not O'Driscoll or Gary Mac seemingly.

Bild say that FSG want those 2 to stay, which is the weird thing about it.

I could see Klopp wanting to keep coaches like Pep and bring his own in, in addition, but those 2 were very much Rodgers' own choices.

EDIT: Ha, just seen all the major UK papers are saying O'Driscoll and Gary Mac have been sacked. Looks like Bild were wrong then :P

And in fact, it looks like we're getting a major overhaul. This is from the Echo:

Assistant boss Sean O’Driscoll, first-team coach Gary McAllister, head of performance Glen Driscoll and head of opposition analysis Chris Davies have all been informed they won’t be part of the new coaching set-up.

O’Driscoll and McAllister were only appointed by Brendan Rodgers three months ago after the sacking of Colin Pascoe and Mike Marsh but neither are required on Klopp’s staff with the German bringing with him Zeljko Buvac and Peter Krawietz, who he worked with at Borussia Dortmund.

Experienced Bosnian coach Buvac will be Klopp’s No 2, while Krawietz will be the video analyst.

McAllister is expected to be offered the chance to stay at the club in another capacity with a role at the Academy under discussion but it remains to be seen whether he will decide to stick around,

Driscoll and Davies, who had been at the club since Rodgers’ appointment in the summer of 2012, are certain to leave.

First-team development coach Pep Lijnders, who was promoted to Melwood from the Academy four months ago, is being retained with owners Fenway Sports Group big admirers of his work.

Ryland Morgans, the club’s head of fitness and conditioning, is also expected to stay.

Aren't Bild like Germany's Daily Star? Can have info but mostly should be ignored?

Anyway...done deal now it seems!

HAPPY KLOPPMASS DAY!

Nervously optimistic. Half of me thinks great times are ahead. The other half think we've just replaced Brendan Rodgers with a German Brendan Rodgers. Maybe that is all we need.

I expect it'll be OK AMAZING AMAZING HELLLLLLLP IT HAS ALL GONE WRONGGGGG.

If he can remind Firmino he's good at football, Sturridge stays fit he should have an acceptable debut season.
