Early results that are continuing the terrible form of the last year and more so hardly a surprise patience is already wearing thin. If it wasn't for a wonder-goal against Stoke and a fairly blatantly offside one against Bournemouth we'd be in 17th place on 4 points. I'd love to believe BR could yet turn this around but this is far more than a handful of less than perfect performances.

He must surely have until Christmas. Early results can often mean nothing.

He should have went last season. Never mind giving him until Christmas.

We should have got Rafa in when he was twice available and living on the Wirral. Actually, we shouldn't have got rid of him in the first place. Rafa should be Liverpool manager for life.

But I suppose Klopp will do. :hat:

Whatever you think of this man, you can't argue that he speaks fucking sense.

"ran rings" ahh here we go again

mentally, they both did. i dont think hes the saviour some see him as, only caretaker at chelsea, lots of eyebrows raised at him landing a decent job like real, and even a target for west ham. fantastic CL win but still a backward step for me. if youd like to maybe make a list of topics youd rather not discuss, feel free

Gone, you mean.

Because he has been given a summer getting rid of him right now seems pointless.

Support him at least for the first half of the season or that investment in him is entirely wasted.

Last chance saloon, sure, yet the early season stuff is usually up and down. Look at Chelsea. Many teams have won titles after poor starts. We won't do that yet we can certainly improve.

You're completely ignoring the ownership fiasco and Rafa beating Mourinho in two CL semis in three years.

Plus Chelsea fans are a bit special, I don't think anyone relies on their opinions.

i'll give you the semis then, true. much as you dislke JM though you cant deny he has a bigger cache in world football than rafa. but yes, 10 years on, maybe he'd do a job, hes certainly a hell of a lot better than ol championship manager rodgers. i still cant see it though. ancelotti in by november.

First Liverpool game I haven't been able to find a stream for in ages - it doesn't sound like I missed much! At least we got through.

Angel you are really boring in here. Almost every other post is just you saying the same thing about Rodgers over and over again. We all know your opinion on it by now.

Do you go on Red and white kop? Its an awful, awful forum, probably the worse place on the internet. But they have a thread called "is tonights game on the internet anywhere?" That always has links to the game. But as you have now gathered, in this particular instance, you didnt miss much!

Mourinho will do a massive shit on your club though, either he leaves you in a mess or gets booted out. Anyway it's pointless, none of them are coming.

We're probably going to get different names bandied about every game now, that's where Rodgers is now and it will continue until either he wins something or gets sacked. Even if we start to win a few games and go on a good run, that next defeat will start it all over again. It's all part of the press-fueled death spiral.

I think today could be an ugly game if we don't get an early goal. Both teams playing poorly and winless for a long time, both will probably thinking this is a good game to have right now. At least Benteke won't be smashing through our defence now, which is something.

With Sturridge in the team last week against Norwich, that was the best I've seen us this season. Don't get me wrong, we weren't good, but it was a marked improvement. He really is a game changer in the direct impact he has, and also what he offers the team off the ball too, kin terms of opening space and just causing general problems. I hope we see that today.
