this has to be it, what a joke. extra time and pens to win at home to 2nd div carlisle. lalanna and his marvellous cream adverts but he cant stick a pen away. get the football right before you do all that stupid shit. just crazy, and lucky.

I genuinely don't know how you've managed to make Milner shit. Of all the safe signings in the universe, that should be one. I mean, not exciting, but safe.

It's amazing, isn't it? It was mentioned during commentary that no player has run more than him so far this season in the league and yet after a decent few games at the start, his form has dropped off a cliff. I think not having Henderson around him hasn't helped, but his passing has been off, he's looked sluggish in the tackle and he's run around with no discipline. Should probably just dump him wide like City did!

A team that has had 47 shots isn't lucky, it demonstrates a complete dominance. Now the fact that there was nobody good enough to put them away is a separate issue. It was a poor performance, but it wasn't lucky.

you were lucky carlisle didnt put away their 2 chances in the last 5 mins, and lucky they didnt have composed pen takers. lucky they dont have expensive premiership strength and conditioning coaches and nutritional experts. they were knackered after 75 mins and you still couldnt put them away. you were lucky.

That Carlisle kid was about a foot away from scoring a 120th minute screamer, and there were a few other chances in the second half and ET for them too. Despite the 47 'shots'from us, Bogdan worked at least as hard during that game.

On another note, I do like Can but he needs to cut out the flashy shit sometimes. There would have been 44,000 people queueing up to punch him directly in the cock if that panenka had flown over.

Ha ha, what? So by the same token they were lucky we didn't put away any of the 47 chances we had, or even more than 1 the 16 on target (against their 5 in total and 2 on target). They were lucky we were terrible and had no ideas against a team happy to get men behind the ball. They were lucky that Bogdan didn't say all of their penalties.

We weren't lucky in the slightest. Again, it was a terrible performance devoid of any plan, genuine class or composure in front of goal, but is was in no way lucky.

i liked that pen. thats what these affairs should be, top flight class players showing quality over minnows. then the carlisle player puts his pen in the absolute top right postage stamp to show lalanna how its done when you practise pens instead of standing in front of a mirror

so scraping past carlisle on pens at home because you cant finish, and they were knackered, is not lucky? sorry pal you usually post sense but here it is.

tonight matthew, you were lucky.

First Liverpool game I haven't been able to find a stream for in ages - it doesn't sound like I missed much! At least we got through.

Angel you are really boring in here. Almost every other post is just you saying the same thing about Rodgers over and over again. We all know your opinion on it by now.

So you are saying you have to go back 4 years to find Klopp performing better than Rodgers in a much easier league with a relatively better team. What happened since 2012? Dortmund are doing great this year without him.

Harsh.

Look at the state Dortmund were in when Klopp arrived. They weren't always title contenders. They were nowhere of winning the title before he arrived.

And yeah he had a great team. But he was the one who basically made that team with good signings like Hummels, Lewandowski, Gundogan, Kagawa, Subotic and Reus. It's not like all those players were there before him.

Not showing his face to the press after the match says quite a lot I think, unless there was some good reason for it. Once these things reach a certain critical mass the outcome is inevitable - if nothing else but because the players aren't exactly going to perform better if they think the manager is already doomed - and there an awful lot of symptoms of that now.
