We've looked rubbish all over the pitch so far. Even before going 2-down I was thinking that I don't like this system, I'm struggling to think over the course of the 3 and a bit games so far this season how many chances we've actually created for Benteke? Nowhere near enough, that front 3 seem to just be playing almost for each other rather than as a unit (though Phil has linked well on occasion).

Astonishingly bad defending, even from Lovren. I think he managed to pack 3 or 4 separate errors into 15s of defending; the WH player he was chasing easily could have gone down for a penalty just before it went out to Noble.

Probably sounds like I'm picking on him but this was always going to happen with Lovren, thought he was awful against Bournemouth, I admit I havent seen what he's done but sounds really bad from what I've read, needs to be sold and cheap to get rid, nevermind out of the team, he looked ok on Monday but Arsenal were half asleep

Forget the horrendously cheap goals, the system is just not right - as an attacking force we've been woeful. Benteke is a waste up there on his own. I count one shot in the first half?

Need changes at HT. Ings hopefully. Although knowing Rodgers it might take until 60mins.

It's Kevin Friend. Not sure we've ever won a game he's refereed.

Also, foul on Lovren in the build up to his brain fart. Booking Phil for moaning about very obvious fouls on him being ignored. Seems completely cool with the blatant time-wasting that's going on. Not that it really matters because we wouldn't win this if it went on for another 500 minutes.

I'm not saying he's the reason we're losing, by the way. He's just a shithouse of a ref and I hate him.

The Arsenal game is the only one so far where we've actually looked decent, and that's the only game where we've looked to control the space when we didn't have the ball. In the other games, where we've looked to control things, we've looked completely impotent as an attacking force. We've not created much.

It doesn't help when playing players out of position - I'm thinking Gomez for sure, and I'm not convinced the system works best for Coutinho or Firmino either.

Anyway, never a red for Noble there.

Serious questionable tactics from Rodgers here. Firmino off when we're chasing a game? Why leave Lucas on and take off one of out most creative players. We're already losing, at least go all out attacking and try salvage something because continuing like we have hasn't done much good at all.

Also never a red for Phil

He jumped into the tackle at the start but was already on the ground before he got anywhere near the Liverpool player. It's not going to change the result, Liverpool have been terrible and Rodgers substitutions have made no difference.
