It'd be nice to have some reasoned debate now and then in this thread. It may be difficult though.

Yes, it's become increasingly difficult with you chiming in with bitter and obsessed comments.

You seem to care more about my club than you do your own.

To be fair, we are more his own club than his club is right now.

Again, I like SaintM, I think he comes in and acts pretty well for the most part and it stands to reason he will be in here a lot, as we are in a battle with them for those 4th - 8th spots in the league and they are now our rivals, like it or not. He doesn't push the boundaries and as much as I don't agree with him on everything, he can hold a conversation.

Better him than some of the regulars in here :)

I even didn't kick up a stink about the whole Suarez rewriting of history which I found very offensive.

The guy takes any comment about LFC that isn't from a press release as a personal slight worthy or a neg and an insult. How can you negotiate in the face of such a challenge?

You could have ended it when I apologised for my part in any ill feeling or behavior between us earlier in this thread, instead of throwing it back in my face like the child you obviously are...

So, don't give it the 'what more can I do' nonsense, because that doesn't fly. You had the chance, I extended an olive branch, but you were too bitter, obsessed and petty to accept it. Says everything.

'Throwing it back in your face' is a total fabrication in your mind. I don't know you and certainly don't hate you. I think you are a bit strange (allegations of PM conspiracies and the like) and really aggressive for some reason, but live and let live.

I'm pretty comfortable that I've not stepped out of line here. I will stop the digs against against Istanbul because it's obviously not gonna calm down the situation, but I'm not gonna stop posting in the thread and some of things I post may not be complimentary towards LFC.
If he could stop the abusive comments and neg-stalking then with a bit of effort on both sides we may get somewhere.

Right, can we just cut this out, please? I really didn't want to stick my nose in over an argument that I can barely comprehend, but I think it has derailed the thread enough now. For those of you that are in doubt about how these football threads work:

- Abuse will not be tolerated.

- Trolling of the club threads will not be tolerated. Criticism does not necessarily constitute trolling.

I'm not going to argue specifics over what's been said already. Let's just all move on and try to be civil. I tried to let you guys sort this out between yourselves but I think it's just going to keep going round in circles if I leave it any longer.

In regards to myself, I won't put up with the continued direct abuse, veiled snide comments, or the encouragement of others to perpetrate such acts. I don't think that is too much to ask.

In the future, like he has stated, I won't back down if I see a comment I don't agree with and will challenge anything I see as inaccurate or needlessly antagonistic.

However, he has my word and the rest of the forum does too, that I won't engage in any abuse myself, unless provoked with similar abuse. Which is all I feel I have been doing in the face of continued provocation.

I hope that can put an end to it, I am certainly tired of the entire sorry episode.
