The current region is quite open about it really. Hodgson saying he isn't going to pick players on form was quite telling.

I thought Hodgson said he would pick players on form, but didn't. Instead he just picks the usual suspects regardless of their club form. It's always annoyed me with Swansea. At one time we had three players in the dutch national squad. At the same time we had in form english players getting nowhere near the England team.

Christ, every time Liverpool do something the football folder bursts out into Liverpool hate mode. This time it's the signing of Clyne which brings such bait inducing comments such as; Liverpool don't produce their own players and Liverpool don't win trophies etc etc

I only assume that folk there are in their 40's/50's and remember Liverpool's dominance during the 70's and 80's and have formed an unnatural hatred which still burns brightly.

Everyone of my generation hates Manchester United :)

Yeah, I'm 40 and had to endure year after year of Liverpool winning stuff as a kid, listening to my glory hunting mates crow on about how they were the best, while plucky little Man Utd (bear with me) were always the bridesmaid. Then the 90s happened and all of a sudden apparently I was the glory hunter but I shouldn't get too cocky as Liverpool would soon be back to dominate the league once more.

Still waiting for that one. :P

Glad someone pointed that out. You've got halfwits like SaintM constantly running their mouth about Liverpool, getting all his forum mates to neg posts that dare to challenge his ridiculous anti Liverpool views. This part of the forum isn't about discussion or reasoned debate, or even 'banter' (as the kids call it these days), it's 100% about who you support and who's ass you want to kiss. I'll never let SaintM get away with what he is doing and will gladly accepts the negs of his (and the overall) Liverpool hating hoarde each time I challenge such delusional and bitter opinions.

The main footy thread is usually like that though. It's a place for other supporters to pick holes in your clubs dealings. And we are usually an easy target what with the animosity from other fans in general, plus our recent history of terrible signings and wasting money...

Crazy how you are not a Liverpool supporter, yet place such importance on a Liverpool thread that you feel the need to 'follow' it.

I think the change was just to get away from mega threads. Be good to add a link in the first post to the previous season's thread, so we keep the continuity.

This is the megathread, started in 2013-14 season.

Has that been confirmed now? I thought terms had been agreed between the clubs but the player hadn't agreed anything yet.
