Fair enough, I must have misinterpreted what you were saying. I do think he has been one of our better players as well, and yes tactic wise we have been all over the shop. I think Rodgers likes to try and play a certain way and Lambert and Mario for example should never have been bought because they don't fit into this idea. I do have to wonder whether a transfer committee is really a good thing. For this reason he's tried to stick Sterling up front and it's worked to some extent. The biggest mistake last summer was not getting a suitable striker and relying on Sturridge to be fit.

Anyhow, I went off on a tangent the.... Sterling, if he goes he goes but the whole episode has been a shambles from the start.

He doesn't want to be here so he is going to go. The club just needs to get as much as they can for him.

As dogs out has said. We have a good amount of midfielders so selling him and brining in a hopefully good striker could help the team overall.

Maybe tell Rodgers not to sign a Southampton of Swansea striker with the money though?

Liverpool's first serious attack results in a corner. It comes to nothing. Liverpool are far from fluent. Stoke have bossed the opening stages.

Sums up the season really.

Maybe it'll be better if we avoid Europa League, we can barely cope with the games we already have. Now best get a couple of red cards to ensure we don't qualify via good behaviour.

Man City are beating Southampton, so it looks like 6th. Don't we start in the qualifying rounds in July if we finish in 6th?

I saw a stat this morning that we've spent only 4 days inside the top-4 this season. Pretty dreadful, really. Just lucky that we somehow convinced Phil, Ibe and Can to sign extensions to their contracts.
