I remarked to somebody at work today - half-joking - that it's like he's doing these things to push to club to wanting to sell him.

I don't really think that, it's merely a reminder that he's just a kid that does some silly things like we all have.

The thing is he's not a kid he's an adult one with an actual kid (or more if you believe the stories) and apparently a top athlete who believes he is worth £150k a week. Top athletes, those who command the top wages and rise to the top of their game don't make such mistakes because the difference between success and failure is as minute as the tobacco, alcohol or other substance that you've used. Those with talent who end up reaching their potential, the Bales, Messis and Ronaldos of this world never have such issues because they know and understand that such things could stand in their way to achieving their potential. The players who get caught out time and time again, the Wilsheres and Ravel Morrisons despite their talent have seen their careers stumble or decline.

Its not like a professional footballers don't get the dos and don't drummed into their heads constantly throughout their learning, to go and do what Sterling did not once but multiple times is just plain stupidity. Can a young millionaire seriously not find other ways to entertain himself?

I think we should question Sterling's attitude and professionalism.

I don't think it's such a big issue. So he had a night out. Nothing wrong with it.

I'm sure it happens loads with other footballers and in other professional sports but there's just less media scrutiny elsewhere so it doesn't get picked up on.

Up till 4am last night, felt horrid this morning but nothing a crappy Maccy Dees didn't sort out. The stadium is very impressive, I've been before for a Foo Fighters gig but never a football game. We're sat right near the top but it doesn't matter cause the view is great. PA guy is pretty rubbish tbh, seems to be stumbling over his own words and the music.
