To emphasise how shit our start to the season was, even if we win all remaining nine games this season we will stil finish short of our 13-14 points total.

But hey, we are up there fighting again, and everything seems to be clicking into gear really well. Looking forward to seeing how we get on against United :)

Those big games are crucial, but we've also got a couple of dodgy away trips to Hull and West Brom, the sort where if we start like we did against Swansea we're likely not going to scrape a win again. Guess we'll need another 16 points minimum to make the top 4 (given those around us still have to play each other, as well as us), which leaves little room for error in the final eight games.

It's great to still be in with a shout, but only cautiously optimistic, just because, well, Liverpool.

He can't make it so the tickets are available. They actually arrived today too.

Complete football noob question but they have my name on them, I assume that doesn't matter or will stop someone else for using it.

Seats are in Anfield Road Lower, block 128, row 35. Not the best from what I can see (then again never been).

Face value is £20.00 a ticket, not looking to make money off a charity game so happy to sell then on that price each, plus whatever postage would be. Don't have PayPal though so can only accept bank transfer I'm afraid. Let me know if that's a problem, could maybe arrange to complete the deal on the day prior to kick off if it is. Or postal order if that's still a thing.

Certainly madness from Gerrard and I agree with hmm, I think being on the bench will have rankled with him and made him a bit too aggressive.

Great goal from Mata there, too. This is a very damaging defeat.

He's been very quiet for most of the last few games. If his advisers are telling him that he'd get into a top, top team and play regularly, they are doing him a disservice. He still has much to learn, something highlighted somewhat by Ibe's really exciting start to his career.

Can't take anything possitive away from that. What a utterly spineless and crap performance. If we lose to Arsenal and United beat Villa, which you'd expect them too that's 8 points to make up. 4th spot is all but gone now.
