Might be shifting them to a mate, but he needs to check his shifts/work rota first. If he can't make it I'll be happy to sell to someone here. Though not sure how I'd do that, says the tickets my not be sent out until 3 days before the game so could cause problems with getting them sent on...

Seen more players have been announced. Riise, Luis Garcia, Bellamy, Meireles, Babel and Arbeloa to mention a few.

Carra ripping the piss out of some players, Gerrard having a dig about the argument between Carra and Arbeloa and joking about the Riise Bellamy Golf Club incident.

Said still some players to join, on my wish list is Crouchy, Heskey, Mascherano, Agger, Benayoun and Maxi Rodriguez.

I was going to go with my dad, so ideally I'd like both tickets if possible - though obviously it's up to Azrael :)

If they're available, I'd be happy to pay for Special Delivery post, that'd hopefully get them here on time.

Mig kept us in it in the first half but second half we were much the better team; great to see BR having such an effect at half time. Obviously took a chunk of luck to actually win it but that's a really important result to keep up with rest of the top 4.

Not a great performance but can't be disappointed with the result.

FAO DeNeo - my mate finds out tomorrow if he was able to swap shifts (tbh the fact it's taking this long doesn't bode well for him) in regards to the Charity game. If he can't do it I'll let you know - if you're still interested in the tickets, like.

Henderson is fast becoming my favourite Liverpool player!! In the last two seasons he really has come into his own, easily proving he was worth the money we paid for him. I love his never give up attitude, his pace, back heel flicks, the fact he is now shooting like Gerrard used, his passion and his "fuck off" attitude when a decision doesn't go his way.

First name on the team sheet for me!

Thats the end of my Hendo love in!

Just want a new contract for Hendo, more than for a Sterling even, to put my mind at ease. I think it'll get sorted but i don't want them being laissez faire about it.

1st half was poor & I'm glad Swansea did not finish off any of chances they had, Mignolet was in great form.

2nd half we were more attacking although there were some poor shots from Coutinho, Sturridge etc just glad Hendo got the one goal we need to get the 3 points.

2nd to 5th is now very tight hopefully we can continue our form & break into the top 4 at the weekend.

I'm with you on that. I think though it's just the way the board do it, I cannot see henderson going anywhere else or us wanting rid.

I also think Sterling's will get sorted out but the drawn out process doesn't make him look good (no doubt it's the greedy agent)

Excited after another tremendous win last night, I worked out every team’s form over the last 12 games and taking that form forwards until the end of the season, worked out a final points total for all teams. Rather excitingly I have the league finishing like this. Absolute nonsense obviously but would be nice to finish with 78 points and in 3rd place (or above).

Enjoy a bit of fixture speculation, so it's funny seeing Man City in 5th. Someone on Football Weekly said they could see them finishing outside the top 4 and wasn't really taken seriously, but City do look jaded.

United have a tough run of fixtures coming up, but so do we, so at this point would take scraping 4th on goal difference. Meek, I know, but would still be an excellent recovery after the start we had.

Like you say, what's insane is where you see how the current top 7 looked after the first 12 games of this season:

Chelsea 32

Southampton 26

Man City 24

Man Utd 19

Arsenal 17

Spurs 17

Liverpool 14

We really couldn't have made it much harder for ourselves if we tried. 14 points in the first 12 games compared to 32 points in our last 12 games.

The Sterling situation is becoming tedious now. He's been offered £100k a week. He's currently on £30k and is no where near the finished article. It's a hugely generous offer, why stall? Do him and his agent think he's worth Gerrard or Suarez level of wages? Because that's the vibe I'm getting. He's not close to that level and the club shouldn't be bent over about this. If he doesn't sign by summer sell him abroad and watch him return with his tail in between his legs a couple of years later. The club will survive without him. He's a very good player but he currently is no Suarez, he's not irreplaceable.

Getting something at the Emirates and Stamford Bridge is key, along with beating Man U on Sunday. Losing 2 out of the 3 of those, or even 3 draws would knock us out of the race for 4th, I think. Need at least 5 points from those games to stay in contention when looking at the run-ins of the other teams.
