I'd have looked alright against this Villa side to be fair.

Well, yeah, there is that but he wasn't completely idle. This is the Mig we're talking about so the fact that he actually came and caught a few things without having a panic attack is a step forward I'd say.

Lets hope the current form is just the beginning because the next five league games reads like this:

West Ham (h)

Everton (a)

Tottenham (h)

Southampton (a)

Man City (h)

Could end up either in mid table or right in the mix for the top 4 depending on results. I'd be much more confident if we get a new striker in befroe the window closes.

Lucas makes this

http://www.mediafire.com/watch/?j6xg4fz8wnx209y

Edit:

Having watched it a number of times, Markovic gets his hair pulled, then looks at the guy doing the puling and all he can do is slap the fella on his bald head in return

Lucas is one of the first in the huddle, then gets removed by a steward, only to stomp around, then try again to get into the huddle

There's so many reactions to take note of. Even the guy that does some crowd surfing in the last angle right near the end of the footage

Can't help but chuckle!

Typical Liverpool v Jose Mourinho Chelsea performance, out play Chelsea then fall behind through an unfair/contentious/stupid goal, Chelsea then play 10 behind the ball and see out the win.

Remember the Benitez days when it was pretty much the other way round?

Was it a penalty then? I was in the Kop but couldn't tell cause it happened too fast and didnt have the benefit of replays. Seemed to me that the ref didn't give much at all either. Also did Courtouis take that ball over the line near the end then, looked like it?

Lucas MOTM for me.

They've defended very well. Another opposition keeper having a worldly at Anfield.

Nah, I don't really think that's true, he made saves you would expect him to make.

It was all a bit too over-elaborate when getting towards the Bolton box and they defended well. Almost all of our chances were from outside the box, which doesn't help and too often we didn't have enough bodies up with the play anyway. Playing without a dedicated striker doesn't help (even Borini was only central for about 5 minutes before being shipped out wide to swap with Sterling.) Nobody really looked like scoring (for either side) so a draw is a fair result.

Well tonight and Tuesday just confirms again that we need a proper striker Asap.

All that position and no end product. Sturridge can't come back soon enough.

The Liverpool crowd today was woeful too, think there was about 4 songs all day. Such a contrast to Tuesday night which was one of the best crowds I've been in at Anfield. The Bolton fans were amazing though, they didn't stop from start to finish.
