We're shit aren't we. Last year is looking more and more like a blip in our mediocrity. Just seems like there's issues all over the places and that's after we've supposidly strengthened.

Many of us said last year was anomaly, it was widely agreed in here, amongst the pros and the media that we punched above our weight. Just as in 2008/09 we had a season where everything clicked, but the performances in the season before and after were more the level we've been at for a long time now.

We just have so little goal threat it's absurd. Sturridge has been a massive miss, but what helped last season was that goals came from everywhere, this year we have nothing. And defensively, Mignolet is an average keeper playing behind a disjointed and poor defensive unit.

Lallana (this first 45 aside) has been the only one of the Summer signings to look half-decent so far and that's just not good enough.

I still don't know what Mignolet did at Sunderland that made Rodgers think he would be good enough for Liverpool, he always look like an accident waiting to happen. £9m for him when we could probably have got Begovic from Stoke for the same money still seems crazy and his rush of blood almost cost a goal today.

At the time Begovic was widely reported as the main option afaik but they were asking for much more than Mignolet was going for.

I dont think Mignolet has been the problem today, Liverpool are being dominated in the midfield by QPR and Balotelli is horrendous.

He's in poor form and just doesn't look interested. That poor form is probably, in part, the fact that we've not created much for him in any of his games, but that's perhaps being a bit generous towards him.

Mignolet has been ok so far but defence has been dreadful. £20 Mil for Lovren I expected him to manage & lead that defence but he has been a poor signing. Vlaar, Lescott or anyone else would have been a better signing.

All of BRs signing this summer none have really stepped up to show why they were signed.

Last season yes we punched above out weight but I still did not expect us to have this bad a start to the season.

At this rate top six will be difficult let alone top four.
