Is it too late to sign a new goalie? Mignolet should be long gone.

I often said that I don't see Mignolet as a long-term solution for us, but in fairness to him at the moment the defence in front of him is so disorganised it probably doesn't help him build any confidence. Also not helped by the constant change in personnel, too.

Either a bit of magic or West Ham tiring look like the only way Liverpool are going to get anything out of this, thoroughly outplayed. I'm not sure what Gerrard and Lucas are up to, neither offering any defensive cover and both seem to be out of position or unable to make up ground every time West Ham go forward.

I can fully understand Balotelli starting to get annoyed now, he has next to no service and the team spent msot of the game passing the ball about in front of the West Ham defense. I fear the Everton game might be something similar if they can't shake themselves out of the form they are in now.

I'm sorry but losing 1 player (as good as he was) surely can't fuck us up as much as this, blue it seems to have done just that. Rodgers needs to get his and this teams act together very quickly. What the fuck is going on.

Like I said above, this is very similar to the 2012/13 season (also 3 defeats in 5), last year was a massive overachievement.

Blimey it's all doom and gloom in here isn't it, writing off the season already?

Plenty of teams have taken a while to get going over the years, i'm hoping it all starts to click soon.

The most infuriating thing for me is it's so easy for other teams to shake our confidence, I had a feeling West ham would come at us early and rattle us.

Shocking start to the game, played better during the second half but still not very threatening then another defensive fuck up at the end to seal West Ham's win.

Adrian should have been sent off mind...

Is this season going to be a repeat of the season following the last time we finished 2nd?

I was genuinely interested to see what was being said in this thread, i watched the game today and thought other than Sterling (who i like more and more each week) that was an awful performance.

My take is more than one player like Suarez or Bale does not on their own make a team great but the effect they have covers cracks, i thought last season that Liverpool have a pretty terrible back four and very average keeper and much like the Spurs defence last season without Bale ahead they have been exposed and punished.

Teams that weathered Liverpools initial onslaught last season got on better than those that didn't, without Suarez an early goal or survival of a weakened onslaught and Liverpool look for the taking - odd to say its not just one player but it is that and the effect they have on the team, the opposition and possibly even the pre game expectations.

You still turned up against us, bastards!
