I will miss him as a neutral. Always good to have an excellently talented villain in the league.

Yeah, he was undoubtedly a cock, and he certainly deserved a lot of the flak he got, but the Premier League will be a worse place for him going, and as much as people sometimes deride Liverpool and their fans for sticking by him for so long, if we're honest most of us would take a player like him at their club in an instant, despite his antics.

Everywhere else is reporting £75m. Also, the release clause was said to be somewhere in that region and the talk has been that they're activating the release clause. I highly doubt we'd have let him go for less than the clause, personally. This all seems to have been orchestrated last summer.

Knew it was coming yet still gutted. Hope there's some first refusal agreement in place, Barcelona won't be able to handle him so will be looking to get rid soon enough - especially when he pisses off Messi and/or Neymar.

With Sanchez moving to Arsenal (and challenging for his spot) I reckon we'll start to be linked to Walcott again.. Wouldnt mind that tbh.

To put this all into perspective, theres a documentary tonight on BBC1 at 22:35 looking through Alan Hansen's career as a player and pundit. That guy is a genuine Liverpool legend (shame about the punditry).
