Yeah, and he said if I didn’t drink enough milk, I wouldn’t be good enough to play for Accrington Stanley.

 Accrington Stanley? Who are they?

I'd have welcomed Jorginho with open arms today due to how desperate we are for signings. Hell, I'd take Shelvey...

Sander Berge for 8-10m would do

Jorginho like Leno before him probably didn't want to leave London so I doubt he'd have moved to Merseyside. In our decent into banter era Arsenal I'm awaiting the return of Jota and Diaz from injury being described as like a new signing.

Wolves were 3/1 to win when i checked this morning. Raging i didn't put more on them now.

You can still buy money backing Everton next week (6/1)

It's mildly amusing to see just how far the team has completely fallen apart this season. On paper you'd say it's a good, not great, team that should at least be putting up some fight for the top-4, but any chance of that is an absolute fantasy (and has been really since before the World Cup). Hard to see anything other than a tonking at the hands of Real, so the season will officially be over by the end of the month, with even top-7 looking a tough ask to reach.

What is there left that Klopp can do? I still maintain (as I did in the early weeks of the season) that there's never really been any form of plan B. It's still been mainly all about the 4-3-3, but the midfield doesn't work regardless of who is in there, the press doesn't work because we don't have the legs Mane used to put in and Salah has been rubbish for 12 months now and the defence just can't defend and don't get the protection from a functional midfield.

Yet 4-3-3 it is, all the time.

Have we ever seen the downfall of a years-long great team so quickly (for any club?)

I would be heartbroken by this if I still cared much about football in general, but even in my current detached state I find it terribly sad for all the fans who do still live and breathe the club.

Where do we see us getting 11 points to stay up? Hoping form goes out the window next week the the derby du we can get at least a point, but can see us losing quite heavily.

It's also quite amusing that back early in the season there Klopp was asked about the 7-year thing (where it all seems to implode with his teams) and we mentioned it very briefly in here. I recall Klopp saying it wasn't a thing and no danger of it happening (paraphrasing).

I’m clinging onto being bemused by this season, but thank goodness we had a cluster of wins before and after the World Cup, because this squad just doesn’t have any fight left in it. Even six points less than our current total and I’d fear for them.

Everton need only to play half as well as they did today to get something next Monday. Will be a long limp into the summer, with hopefully a decent break for everyone at the club.

The real mystery ride right now is what will they be coming back to? This squad needs a lot of investment just to keep pace with everybody else, let alone exceed them and I don't see that happening.
