It was obviously his head, he made the motion pointing to his head, as did Klopp. Perhaps the increase in exertion exacerbated the symptoms after he'd had the half time break?

Diagnosing concussion is not an exact science right now.

Which is why we need some hard rules. Straight off, quiet room, independent examination.

Also, taking that long for offside the on pitch decision should stand. That was ridiculous.

The 3d one? Why's it bullshit?

That's not what the offside rule was designed for. I hate it. We are talking one player leaning slightly more than another, possibly because of body shape.

It is complete crap.

I liked the wee 3d graphic and based on the current (bullshit) rules he was offside but was there any reason it took that long to resolve?

Only thing I can think of is they literally don't want to make a decision without a definitive graphic in front of them.

Bayern, PSG, Porto or Real, the last 16 is going to be horrible.

Id rather play any of them over say Atletico Madrid or something. We beat Man City this season but lost to Nottingham Forest.

Also who knows what the landscape will be in Feb. Great win tonight though, solid and no silly mistakes. Not often you get 15 points in the group stage and don’t win your group…

Yep, I'd much rather the club were actually competing and in the last 16 regardless of the opponents.

The club will have lots of time to get the players not attending the world cup up to speed and hopefully get a good training camp.

If footballers were fictional robots.

Haaland would be a T-800 whilst Nunez is Bender.

If, and it's a big if at the minute, this side wins anything, his antics are going to be off the charts. Expect him in the Sandon in full-kit then end up on a fishing boat to Dublin. "Lads, lads, I know a place!"

The Bellingham links have started appearing again (if they ever stopped) Can't see there being a budget for him without selling... Anfield?, and the squad is going to need a wider refresh than just one (very, very good) player. Still though, Mbappe and Bellingham in 2023 is going to be awesome *runs off to get a Milner 2023/24 shirt printed*

Benfica instead of PSG now. Considering how many teams have broken their duck against us so far this season I can see us getting them and being on the end of the hiding for a change.
