I can understand it looking soft after Silva got away with throwing Salah to the ground in the second half after Cancelo got away with tackling Salah from behind in the first half but still :lol:. Justice was done because it should have been a Liverpool corner which no one seems to be mentioning. Hopefully Jota isn't too badly injured because he was brilliant today.

To a man the side were magnificent today, but huge credit to Joe Gomez who was outstanding even amid the best team performance in months. Such a calm shift that completely belied the season so far.

 

That probably won’t stop City winning the league, it doesn’t put us back in the title picture but that’s a fantastic way to answer some of the criticism that’s been mounting in recent weeks.

The hope is that the performance gets some of the belief back into the team and they can start looking back at the top-4. This season has largely been steps backwards though, so they need to follow it up in the next few games to really turn a corner.

1. It should have been a Liverpool corner.

2. It was a foul on Fabinho (you can't grab sometimes shirt and pull them over)

3. They said on MOTD that a foul would have been given against Haaland on Alisson as well.

 

So all in all, no way should that have been allowed😂

Just came in to say that.  Proper gutted for him.  I really do think he offers us something different upfront too.

Wasn't it Newcastle that made the original comment about their being no ceiling? So he's effectively disagreeing with the owners?

 

Anyway, gutting news for Jota, he's had quite a few knocks over the past year and it was so innocuous too.
