That's annoying, because we've been the better team. Somehow we need to stop conceding every time the opponents flood forwards like that, and remember that we're the kings of the counter-attack. Gotta get them scared to go forwards again, because they all seem to score every damn time.

I'm not going to repeat stuff I've said many times before, but top-4 is an absolute dream at this point. I wouldn't be surprised at a hammering from City (heck, I think Rangers midweek is going to be hard in front of that crowd), and there's nothing about the team at the moment that suggests they have it in them to turn this around. Defensively everyone is culpable, VVD hasn't been the same since his injury and I think that massively impacts everybody else. Midfield we all moan about, and up front Salah has been a very well-paid passenger for 9 months now.

 

All that extra time on the training ground from the cancelled games has done nothing to help, either, so where does Klopp go from here?

I don't think it's that complex. It was a soft pen, but they've been given and upheld by VAR before.

 

We're a bit...directionless at the moment. Sad to say.

Beating Liverpool (this season) isn't exactly difficult or rare so not sure it's much different than all the other wins against lesser teams they've already had.

Don’t get this weird flex that players celebrating is somehow a bad thing?

 

They've just beaten a side that’s regularly battered them the last few seasons and are top of the league. They should dance around all they want in the moment.
