Liverpool Football Club Thread - Champions 19/20

Recommended Posts

Trying to hold onto a narrow result and we've got Lovren by the corner flag crossing it to Matic, in open play in roughly the 90th minute. Real mystery why we usually end up drawing or losing games like that...

Solid performance though, and surely goal of the season that won it for us.

I don't mind Milner at all but it does seem, in almost every game, that as soon as it's knocked out wide to him that's the end of the attack. Hold it in the middle, nothing there, Milner's in space, knock it out to him, that's it. Either a decent cross, but we don't score from crosses, or just nothing. End of attack.

Not the greatest of halves, all so very predictable. I'd get Moreno on for Milner, because despite the defensive stupidity, at least he'll try something different when we put the ball out to him. Origi, too, is basically failing to do the same thing he keeps on trying repeatedly.

Draw at Arsenal keeps things in Liverpool's hands. But they'd probably drop it, trip over their boots and then fall out a window to the sound of a sad trombone.

Liverpool are tedious rubbish. The average Premier League game is hard enough to watch but we are worse.

It's still in our hands but it's hard to imagine that pile of crap in the Champions League.
