Football thread 2013/14 season

Recommended Posts

From the outside looking in, it's a complete farce over there. I know Hull have their issues with some of the things the chairman wants to do, but at least he's letting Bruce get on with things, whereas Tan seems to be on one hell of a power trip. What exactly did he expect when he took over - that Cardiff were going to storm the league or something? The way things are going on it would suggest he has somebody lined up he wants to bring in, somebody who is very malleable too I guess.

Another work experience student, who'll manage remotely from Malaysia once his visa is revoked?

Wouldn't them needing to have a UEFA Pro badge or whatever it is make it tricky to install a true shill?

Then again there's always.... a well a...

Sven-Goran-Eriksson-besiktas-salary-nati

He'd do it a malaysian penthouse and a couple of masseuses. it'd have to be a couple.

It isn't so much the fault of Government as of the FA and the Football League. Look at the mess in Coventry - it is quite obvious what Coventrys owners want and the League had every opportunity to stop them, but they didn't. They didn't step in at Portsmouth or other clubs that are clearly in distress (sit down Blackburn fans).

http://twohundredpercent.net/?p=25101 is a good read.

Yeah, the authorities are useless and you'd be best off choosing your Malcolm Tucker quote of choice. But when you can't expect anything from them, you have to hope pressure on MPs would cause the Government to act.

Malky Mackay no show at the conference, assistant Kerslake is doing the news conference.

Cardiff City's managerial target is understood to be a household name currently in work at another British club.

Any ideas on who that is likely to be?

Journos reckon he is gone. They were told no cameras outside the training ground and someone spotted Malky driving off.

We have fans protesting outside the club and 'high profile super fan' Tan apologists/pro rebrand twats now demanding protests and action.

A lot of these will soon crawl back up Tans arse if we appoint a manager they've heard of.

Tomorrow's televised game at Anfield is going to be worth a watch for the away crowd alone. It's going to be an angry one

BBC Wales news are reporting he was issued a quit or be sacked ultimatum by Tan so he's 100% out of there now. Anyone up for Cardiff Dragons vs Hull Tigers next year in the championship?

Crazy BS owners

From what I've heard there are some pro Malky chants planned from a section of the home support, too.

It may have now changed to a household name working outside of the UK.

Sven or Mr Sheen.

Another working in UK suggestion is Darren FERGUSON.

Probably Sir Alex given the mental state of Tan.

I would love it if it was Di Canio, imagine the fireworks between him & Tan

Neve wanted to win a game more.

Malky in the dug-out, playing in our right strip and an almost impossible task.

Tan would really look a cunt. I'm amazed we have been allowed to play in blue

The unselfishness as well - could have had a hat trick instead if he wanted. Guess he's fairly confident he can pick up another in the second half...

Genuinely would prefer to be getting a narrow, well-fought win here though. Do not like the idea that Tan can kick Mackay out after this - unless there's a major turnaround second half - and probably look slightly less mad.

Henderson for England. Absolutely bossing it recently.

You do remember that he can't actually play with gerrard right?

I watch Liverpool week in week out and I can, with firm conviction say yes he can.

He's a damn sight better than Cleverly.
