Kinect 1 was supposed to work as well. Show me it working coupled to some interesting games and you may get a Roger Moore'd eyebrow worth of interest from me, but until then I refuse to buy into the empty words they say about it.

Agree how anyone can take ms at their word for anything given kinect farce is beyond me. Im in the camp of need to see it being played in someones home space under real conditions first.

5.30, that'll be 5.45 then. It wouldn't be E3 without turning in at the appointed time and seeing someone go "the presentation will be starting any minute now, let's have some more idle speculaiton and replay that CoD trailer".

Question: how many live gameplay demos do you think we'll see? How many live gameplay demos that don't use kinect? CGI trailer percentage?

3, 1, 80% are my bets.

I'm looking forward to seeing on which interesting exclusive games I'll be missing out on and how many potentially interesting games have been ruined by forced Kinect support :D It will be interesting to see whatever happens, either it'll be some large scale schadenfreude or a massive surprise when Microsoft somehow manages to turn it all around to something remotely positive.

its worrying how thoroughly they have misjudged their audience thus far, heres hoping they can pull it back from the brink...

It's still going to sell gangbusters, whether they've misjudged or not, but I think there will be a wider consumer backlash at some point when the realities of DRM (and whether that whole TVTVTV actually works in Europe) sink in.

and, of course, if the machines follow the example set by their predecessor and die on their arse after six months...

Don't forget chaps. Steam chat for fun, excitement and Kraft Mac n' Cheeze.

That'll be the rllmuk Steam group then? Hopefully that'll be easier to follow than refreshing the forum and finding 4 pages have been added.
