PlayStation 4 Console Thread

I've had the same problem updating the firmware on a Sony blu-ray player; one memory stick wouldn't work, another (faster one) did. I assume Sony are expecting the data transfer rate to be a certain speed, and failing the process if it can't read the data off the stick in an allotted time.

Depending on your definition of a reasonable price, I found the official dual controller chargers at Gamestop for £19.47 (+ £2 p&p for orders under £20, cheeky beggars) the other day, which was certainly more reasonable than anywhere else.

Still available actually https://www.gamestop.co.uk/PlayStation%204/Games/45577/dualshock-4-official-charging-station

they have the official stand for £13.47 but I've not looked around at prices for those so less sure how good a deal it is.

I got a set of Xbox one sticks from Amazon for a couple of quid and they improve the pad immensely in my opinion. I also bought a new battery with twice the capacity for £8 and its lasting ages now compared to before where I was only getting a single evening out of a charge.

It's really easy to do although the first time I put it back together the touch pad stopped working, but a quick google later and I realised I'd disconnected the ribbon inside it and sorted it (there's an obvious ribbon connection and another that you can't see), seems quite a common thing to happen by all accounts.

I`m thinking of getting a projector to use with my PS4.

What is the cheapest option I have to get decent quality?

Also, related question. Has anyone used the Sony Cinema (HMZ1,2,3) goggles with a ps4? Are they any good? I think they`re only 720p though.

Currently have a 32inch TV, but I want something bigger that I don`t have to share , without buying a giant TV.

Mkv is great but it doesn't support ntfs does it

I was worried about this when I saw that news this morning - does the PS4 actually support any filesystem that allows for files bigger than 4GB?

Edit - Yes! exFAT works apparently.

Fortunately you can pick up a third party stand on eBay for just £3 or so. Albeit one that's a slightly brighter white than the glacier console, if you're buying for that.

Is there some reason you have to use a stand? I don't
