I know. I'm a sucker for this game though. When I saw it popping up in the sales list I thought this would make for some perfect Easter gaming. Which it does.

Ever since the most recent update, the new activity section of the UI says "Cannot Load" unless I restart the console. If I suspend and wake the machine, it just won't load anything, but everything else works perfectly. Internet, friends lists, store and online play...

Does anyone else get this?

Yeah. Though it was happening for me before the last update.

I find it works perfectly if I turn off auto log-in. That slight extra delay in startup as you press a button to choose your profile seems to bring the What's New section back to life.

Alternatively, logging out of your user profile then back in again from the dashboard also seems to fix it.

Oddly, the What's New section very rarely used to work for me before the latest update, but loads consistently now.

My UK PS+ subscription ended today.

I'm thinking of getting a US ps+ sub. All the games are cheaper and often come out earlier, so why do I need a uk one at all?

If I do, will I still be able to play all my uk games online (my us and uk accounts are on the same ps4)?

Anyone else considering or have done this?

It would be way cheaper and I can't see a downside.

You'll need to get the games on US PS+, not the UK one, and you'll lose access to all your UK PS+ games unless you run two subs, but sure.

Question for the folks who have US PSN accounts...

Given Last of us is under £9 for US version i am looking to get it, I have a US PSN account so the question is more about using the game - I already have many UK digital games so I assume to play US games i would have to log into that account on my PS4, no issues for last of us but kinda stops me buying anything I would play online due to friends lists etc.

Is this correct, as I understand if I make my US account primary I could login my UK account and play it on that username but would lose access to my UK purchases??

Remote play is still easily the best feature of this gen. I enjoy streaming too, despite no-one ever watching my streams.

Still yet to be properly wowed by graphics (P.T. excepted) but that's on the way with Arkham Knight.

Remote Play is magic. I was sitting in my mate's house in London playing GTA Online with him despite the fact my console was in Oxford.

Someone watched me playing Axiom Verge the other day. Just one person, for well over an hour. I hope they enjoyed it. It's a great feature and I've really enjoyed watching Bloodborne streams recently.

It's still the case. Though worth bearing in mind that, while you can play U.S games on a U.K account, any DLC you purchase will need to be U.S as well.

Cheers chaps, I didn't know you could have more than one primary account so wills et up the US account that way and play on my UK one

I do the same to play Destiny. Just set the US account as primary, load the game up once and then you can just close the application and go back to using your UK account as normal. All your saves, etc. will work fine.
DLC must be purchased through the US store and your UK account will be able to share the PS+ subscription in terms of access to online play as well.

just a quick question am I correct in assuming the rumoured ps 2 emulation support hasn't been added. I found a few news stories in relation to it last year but no confirmation. I assume it is more likely they want to push us to pay for the streaming service.

Well I have an old amiga that is definitely yellow as hell now though apparently there is cream you can buy to whiten the cases.

No I was just wondering how dirty they would get from smudges etc but it sounds like I've nothing to worry about

I've had mine for a few months now, exposed and on a stand, and it hasn't discoloured even slightly. Looks so good I only remember to dust it every few weeks. I'd heard that the yellowing in older consoles/computers was due to a certain chemical or plastic in the manufacturing process which is no longer used.

It isn't worth spending money on it but I do find it a little bit addictive due to the fast nature of the game.

Anyone had any issues sharing pics to Twitter? One just says cannot upload, no failed upload in the list or anything. Just a cannot upload message. Logged out then in again, rebooted.

I was having the same problem uploading to YouTube, getting a 'cannot upload' message every time. Fixed it just now by deleting a bunch of the uploads notifications.

There's a limit on the number of upload notifications you can have, and when you reach that limit it fails all further uploads. I think it's 150.

You can't delete the entire list at once.

It's massively retarded.

I went in with middling expectations and still abandoned it halfway through. I found the gunplay extremely flat and as an ode to the classic original and Duke Nukem / Blood etc therefore totally unforgivable. Terrible loading times and it ain't a looker either.
