Anyone else having trouble signing in to the PS Store on PC and mobile? I don't think my account has been nicked, as I can sign in to the main account management site and thing look fine, but the store times out rejects me, weird errors, etc.

Times out for me, fairly standard.

Why did a Destiny icon randomly appear on my PS4 home screen? I don't want that shit.

Check if you have suggested downloads (or something of the sort) checked in settings. That'll allow Sony to download content to your PS4 that it thinks is 'appropriate'.

And no, I have no idea how you can clean your account after it's been tainted like that.

I couldn't get my "free" month of Spotify premium without giving Sony my card details (i'm not mental so I won't be doing this) which is a bit shit.

Indeed. Wouldn't be so bad if you could then just have them remove your card, but judging by past posts they can't even do that correctly.

Is anyone else being reminded of the new power options EVERY TIME they boot up their PS4 since the update regardless of whether you look at the notification and select ok or is it just me? :-/

Yeah, I turn my PS4 off at the wall after playing and it's doing the power notification on every reload. Not to mention the OS is now making a number of twittering and farting (maybe not the latter) noises on loading etc which can't be turned off in the options.

I keep reading mixed things - can I do that mobile phone remote control action if I'm just a lowly free Spotify member?

Is that Spotify Connect? I looked it up and it says it's a premium feature. I don't get the 'connect' icon on my app. I've not really used Spotify before.

It worked fine for me on free although I signed up for Spotify family earlier. Tap the bar at the bottom and it's the speaker all the way at the end

Since the latest update every time I start the PS4 it tries and fails to download old Destiny preorder packs. Also when it comes out of rest mode I get an error telling me to update (yet I'm on the latest version)

Anyone else?

I get the Destiny download thing but not the other error

Is there a new PS 4 revision coming or are they planning a price drop? I read somewhere that the cost of the parts had dropped so it would seem they could afford to do it but question is if they will or if they are just running some promotions.

The reason I ask is that I saw two places in europe are offering PS 4 base unit with no games for the equivalent of 210 pounds. To be honest I'm tempted but I still have a huge number of PS 3 games ton finish first. Just one question does the white ps4 get dirty quickly as it looks better to me in pictures but I haven't seen it in real life yet?

Not had it myself, but go to settings > PSN > Restore Licenses - and I expect that will fix it after a reboot.

I got my second pad, blue one - I really like the blue but would prefer it if the whole pad was blue!

Anyhoo, I can fire my al the guns in BF4 so the original pad was indeed faulty as the internet suggested - really odd fault, not having a serial number on the pad is preventing it being repaired because Sony are utter cunts :(

I have switched the Xbone sticks from old pad to this one, I have heard the Xbone sticks you get now are not genuine and not as good??
