Anyone notice the whopping 8 gig update for Shadow of Mordor yesterday?

Im guessing its for some more upcoming DLC, but its a poor show that i have to dedicate 8 gig of my hard drive to something that i'll never play.

Shocked to find I had only 6gb of free space yesterday! Massive load of deleting later, back to 250gb free. 500gb really is fuck all in this age of full installs.

500GB is fine as long as you don't want everything installed at once. Works for me as I just delete a game once I've completed it. Plus having too much to look at can lead to that paradox of choice where you sit there, paralysed, unable to choose anything.

That's a fair point, being tidy on an old 360 was a must. I guess this large drive has made me lazy, and I probably won't delete a thing now the seagate is in there.

I don't know for certain, but I'd say there's a pretty good change most of that update has overwritten the original install. I'd be very surprised if the game has now lept from, say, a 10gig install to an 18gig one..

Partial success by the look of it - the Lego games and Battlefield are at the reduced prices, a couple of games show the reduced price if you go in and select the right version, and the others are still full price. But the promo is up there as a big banner on the store. It's another Sony miracle!

15 mins and you would know what a pile of crap it is, nice graphics but game play that was bettered by Goldeneye - even by the dire standards Sony have in the FPS genre its a terrible by numbers bore fest that looks shiny but with no artistic merit.

Killzone multiplayer was pretty good back when it first came out. No idea if it's still got an active community or if the player base has been split due to map packs etc.

I got the killzone gamer pack (two controllers and the camera) and was ready to defend the game, I mean sure it's a hodge-podge of FPS staples, but only the other day found my sealed copy of Edge January 2014, the one with all the launch title reviews?

opened it up and read the reviews, didn't I? Only just realised how bad the AI in KZSF when you read it in black and white. They DO run to the position of a fallen comrade and shoot back once!

Looks nice though.
