New owners, be careful about what you keep on your accounts with regard to bank cards or psn credit. Sony will not help if you ever have any problems. http://remjohn.tumblr.com/post/105950714877/sonys-attitude-to-fraud-theyll-call-you-a-liar

Yeah never keep your card details stored with Sony LOL. Haven't got the best track record.... :) At least if you use a Credit Card you have a bit more protection.

I think my xbox one drive is going faulty. It doesn't recognise discs when I put them in although I can still start the game from the Games and Apps section. It may have to go back. Annoying.

Edit: oops, wrong thread.

I had that - it'll only get worse send it back ASAP.

I went to check was PS4 was my primary and noticed it wasn't. Tried to set it but it says another PS4 is my primary, and to unset that first.

I can't, as I sent it back to Sony months ago for repair. Can I do it via the web,or is this a call to Sony?

You can do it online, but you you have to do a reset of all devices at once, so if you have a Vita unfortunately that's getting deactivated as well.

So my PS4 has started to randomly eject discs and even if there is no disc in the machine it will periodically beep as if trying to spit one out. A quick google came up with the suggestion of keeping the power button pressed until the console shut down and leaving it with the cable unplugged for 3 minutes. I tried this, it didn't help. Am I going to have to send it back?

Picking up my PS4 tomorrow. I'd like to keep my PS3 plugged in as there are quite a few games I still have to complete (or start) on it, but I'm short on shelf space. Is there a big risk in stacking the PS4 on top of the PS3 (slim model) ?

/waves

the ps3 slim has a curved top. Try the PS4 with the PS3 on top.

I have.

LOL love it! I'm currently going though the rationalisation phase and actually stop this happening LOL.

The PS3 will be fine there really though wont it? The vents are all on the back of the PS4.

Surprised for a entertainment focussed unit that the XBO cannot be stacked very easily as the vents are on the top... bit of an oversight I think that... Mind you saying that the XBO seems to run really cool vs PS4 guess its the lack of GPU powers... LOL that or the cooling system isn't doing its job properly :-/

The vent placement on the bone is to stop other devices (such as consoles) from being placed near it.

The bundled kinect rational was to stop other devices (cameras/sensor bars) from being placed around the telly.

In effect locking down the AV centre for MS. Why you think the one has EPG and STB TV TV TV functionality?

They want the living room.

Maybe I should post how my ps4 camera sits on top of my wii bar. Thanks VELCRO
