PlayStation 4 Console Thread

I'm hoping for a nice post-Xmas sale to lure in the new owners, because this 12 days of Christmas malarkey is pretty bogus, especially running alongside the Steam sale. I don't expect the PS store to approach that level of mania, but something more than a game on sale for £30-£40 every two days would be great. Just a return to the regular sales, in fact.

There's a 'January sale' live now which is quite a bit better than the 12 deals of Christmas. Don't go expecting much with recent retail releases but older stuff and PSN games look more tempting. Things that interested me off the top of my head:

Walking Dead Season 2 for 8-9 quid

The Wolf Amongst Us Season 1 for 10 quid

Octodad for 5.99

Peggle 2 for 3.50

Thief for 12 quid

Geometry Wars for 8 quid

I wish it was even as good as the Xbox sale. The whole 12 days of Christmas has been crap though. At least if items changed daily I would check in and see what was going on. BF4 showing up everytime I logged in just killed any interest, I even forgot it was running.

After such a strong start Sony seem to have forgotten how to do anything right.

Some of the Vita deals over the past twelve days have been ok (I didn't actually pick anything up but that's due to a personal lack of interest in the offered games) but I definitely think the PS4 offers are a bit cheeky. Discounting a £55 game to brick and mortar prices isn't the most enticing of offers. :)
