PlayStation 4 Console Thread

Keep 'em coming...

Eventually one of you will calm down enough to process that you aren't really upset with me.

You genuinely believe Bloodborne's one month delay stirred such a powderkeg of emotion in PS4 owners that all it needed was your insidious touch to make things blow sky high?

Woah woah woah, bloodborne was your ace in the hole, that got pulled out by a good few of those who responded already when Sony's lack of exclusive this year was ever brought up. The SDF's main weapon but now it's delayed your telling me all those non upset people chucking negs and really shit insults my way are not bothered. Please, it was funny when the forum had to rip the Xbox a new one every day but now Sony have shown their true ineptitude in terms of delayed, broken and unfinished releases I can't have a bit of banter without it getting personal, from those mature intellectuals who responded thus far ?

Remember Sony are winning, they sell triple the number of consoles, you have all those great Indy games and PS+ but by Christ you fuckers are bad winners.

Blood borne delayed, what's next ?

We're all winners you mental.

Competition has never been greater. Microsoft have been hitting home runs these past few months with the likes of Forza Horizon 2, Sunset Overdrive and Halo. Hopefully this in turn will make Sony finally take notice. They already appear to be addressing peoples complaints about the lack of retail PS Plus games for PS4 over the next couple of months with Injustice and Infamous.

The embarrassing bit is that none of you have expressed any disappointment in the delay of the most anticipated game of 2015. You've immediately focused on me instead.

My life is rich enough that I don't mind waiting to play a video game for a few more weeks. I should hope most here are in the same position

Rogue Legacy, Valiant Hearts, Counterspy and AC: Freedom Cry look like very good deals, so I might pick them up this week. The Last Tinker looks quite nice as well, although I'll wait for that to appear in the IGC.

I really liked Rogue Legacy on Steam, and it would be nice to have on the Vita, especially with some of the additions they've made to it. However, especially being cross-buy on the PS3, PS4 and Vita, it looks destined for PS+. It's definitely worth £4 though, so I might just pull the trigger and get it now.

Valiant Hearts looks lovely, and I really loved the recent Rayman games, so I'll probably get this. Slightly annoyed at the lack of cross-buy, but it looks like the ideal game to play this week, so I'll probably buy it.

Counterspy, of the four I've listed, is the one I'll most likely leave for now. Similarly to Rogue Legacy, it looks a dead cert to be part of the IGC before too long. I'm sure it's worth £5, but PS+ has really reduced the number of titles I buy and I'm in no rush to try it.

AC: Freedom Cry for under a fiver looks to be a far better option than Unity. I've already got ACIII through PS+, and have just bought the Wii U version, and I'll probably get Black Flag in a few weeks when it's dirt cheap so I'll have my AC fill.

Resogun and the Season Pass are excellent value for those who don't have them, outstanding value.
