Yeah, I can and do occasionally do that. There's a good chance I won't get to the machine for several hours though (play time is limited), and to be honest, I'd just like them to do what they said they would do. It's not like it's a community suggested feature that's going through some sort of internal vetting process. It was a feature announced at the run up to launch, like all those games that ought to have come out during the launch window.

I'm probably being thick - do you mean a power-cut before you've managed to put the machine into hibernate? Or does the Xbox One have to use power to save state? If you meant the former, then yeah, you'll never have a fail-safe against a power-cut whilst you're using the machine; unless you buy a UPS :P

On the few times I've used hibernate on my work laptop I've shut it down completely (as opposed to using 'suspend' which still used battery power), so AFAIK there was no power being used to maintain the state at all.

I mean it doesn't need to dump to disc in standby but would if you completely shut off.

Once it's on disc you can unplug it and move it cross country if you like yes.

Thanks, - that's what I thought you meant. I thought perhaps I'd missed something about how hibernate works given that I never take the battery out of my laptop :)

What's the best place to get the Sony 2.0 headset? Argos have it for £64.99 which is a lot cheaper than anywhere else. I'm curious about how they're so much cheaper.

Picked up mine from Zavvi for £59 a month or so ago. Not sure what price they are now on there though.

SingStar for PS4 came out mid-afternoon today, along with the Android app.

Is it £20.99 for download? Does anyone know if the disc version will install the songs so you don't need the disc after?

As for Share Play, after watching that video, I'm quite excited. Hope it works as seamlessly as it looks.

I noticed an issue today with my PS4 pad again...not the rubber this time but general creakiness from the right side of the pad where the joins are. Probably doesn't help I was on Trials Fusion, but still it was annoying.

Shareplay looks interesting although I think having mates round with a few beers and passing the controller around sounds more social to me. Guess it fits though in this Facebook "social" world we live in today though. :)

Miss the old days sometimes.... but then not many mates play games anymore... LOL....

Mine creaks there too, can feel it pull apart a little - i thought it was because i have opened mine to replace the sticks so interesting to hear someoene else with the issue.

Weird issue with my PS4 and home wi-fi. Wondering if anyone knows what is going on?

My PS4 is wired into my router.

But, whenever the PS4 is switched on, the likes of my phone loses connection to my home wi-fi. You can instantly re-connect on the phone and it works fine. But then drops again a bit later.

100% this is the PS4 that is doing it.

Anyone know why? Every device in my home network, whether wired or wireless has it's own static IP, as I thought it might have been some kind of DHCP conflict at first.

Like a mug I paid £89 for the 2.0 headset on an impulse buy in Tescos. Still one of the best purchases I've made in a long while. Really impressed with them.

Those and the official Sony dual control charger are damn near essential purchases in my eyes.

Does anybody know of a really good headset that would work with both PS4 and XBOne? Wired or wireless. Good sound and chat. Preferably surround but not essential.

I use my Sony Pulse on both XB1 and PS4. Needed to buy the XB1 Stereo adapter though for it to work. So it's wireless in PS4 and wired on XB1.

Share play sounds great for local Co op games but that 60 minute restriction just kills it.

An understandable restriction though. I couldn't see publishers green lighting it if it was unrestrained access. It's best to think of it as a way of demoing any game your friends buy, or for lending a helping hand for certain bits. Publishers still want to sell individual copies to all your friends of course.

I wonder if there's any cool down period? I mean say you were co-oping with somebody. After the 60 mins is up, could you not just send them another request straight away?

So I guess the 60 minute thing stops longer co-op sessions. Mainly to be used for a friendly in FIFA or help with a tricky bit or so your friend can watch.

All of those things are useful though. I would imagine the example where somebody can play a FIFA friendly when they don't have the game will be restricted by the developer as to what is possible. But like single cart multiplayer in DS games.
