Everything I ordered yesterday came this morning. Just ready to start playing now. Bought Resign, Guacamelee super turbo championship (upgrade price) and Alien Isolation Last survivor dlc. Also ordered the Sony wireless headset so that will be with me on Monday.

Going to try Resign and NHL tonight and will keep Alien Isolation until I get the headset :D

Final thing, the PS4 in white is just beautiful.

This sounds like an odd question but when you are using the Sony headphones or similar can you hear your self? I would be worried that, if I couldnt, my normally expletive ridden online chat will just get louder and my wife, who can't hear the game only me, will think I have developed tourettes

Anyone have issues downloading Pix/ Dust/ Spelunky on PS4 via PS+? I definitely own them and if I tell PSN on the intertubes send them to the machine it works, but Spelunky doesn't give me a download option in the Library app and the other two basically tell me to buy them for free and then errors when I try.

You kind of do. The mic feeds back in sound to you in an impressive way.

If you're playing something loud and someone next to you is talking you can hear them and reply.

Rebuild the database if you are having problems with licenses that renewing does not fix. The library/store download options not working was affecting me with a number of PSN games last week, can usually get around it by going to the store directly not via library but if that still doesn't work the database needs rebuilding.

I have never really used the share button for anything other than screenshots before, how the fuck does it work? It's always recording, the last 15 minutes or so right? I did a particularly great lap in Driveclub and wanted to share it so pressed share which brought up the share screen but didn't have any video recorded. How am I fucking this up?

Pressing Share should bring up the menu as you described - then at the bottom there should be two prompts:

Square - Save Video

Triangle - Save Screenshot

Pressing the button will make that option disappear so should then be in your videos. If it doesn't give these options then it's bugged out. If this happens a lot I recommend changing your Sharing Options (options button on menu) to 'Standard' and not 'Easy Screenshots' - it's a lot more consistent for some reason - since the most recent patch I can't remember a time it hasn't worked.

Tried to save a video for the first time in months, after some amusing shenanigans in Watch Dogs. Hit share, nothing there, apart from the current screen. I never plan to record videos, so if I'm supposed to hit record beforehand or something, it's useless functionality to me.

I have to say my share thingy has worked flawlessly for months now - did you get the option to hit square to save the video as its not automatic??

Yeah, been working fine for me too, one thing that threw me was if you go back to the main menu and hit Share it won't show the Save Video option as video doesn't record on the PS menu.

I don't remember exactly, but there's normally a preview of the screen shot, but nothing for the video. When I tried to play the video, it said it didn't exist. Am I doing it incorrectly?

Yeha i think so...

When you get the menu there should be options - triangle to save screen shot and square to save video. Until you press square there is no video saved.

So i've just checked my recent activity feed and it says i've been battering Destiny over the last week which is strange as my console has been unplugged all week due to me re moving my room around, and the only game i've played is Mordor which was yesterday. I think my log in may have been hacked, would it be simple enough for someone to use my details and log in and download my games from the store with no problems? The only games they've been playing are Fifa, Destiny & Injustice (all purchased through psn)

I can change my password but will this ultimately stop the person from doing this? I checked the log and it says that i signed in on another ps4 Thursday at 8am when i would have been at work :(

I've logged onto Sony's entertainment site and it says i have 5!! PS3's registered, which is strange as i only owned one, i can't deactivate them either as you can only do that on a PS3 it says

For a different reason i had to deactivate 2 ps3's back in the day, Sony can do this if you call them.

Fez, Hotline Miami, Speluky if you have not had them on other formats.

Don't Starve is an acquired taste, I love it. The Ubiart games are similar, I liked Child of Light, not started Valiant Hearts yet but I expect to enjoy it based on what I knon. Sportsfriends and Towerfall for local multiplayer.

The last 5 are maybes, the first 6 are essential though.
