To those that have got Assassins Creed - does the 1080p patch download fast?

Everything downloaded stupidly fast. I had already plugged the Ethernet cable in before I started it up, but by the time that I went to add my SEN account and it said that it needed to update, the download was already almost 80% finished.

Edit: Tried to sign into PSN and it prompted me for download again, had to downloaded again but this time it's installing!

I suspect it's safe to say that it's outsold the Wii U's lifetime sales in the UK by now. Which is sad as a Nintendo fan, but a blessed relief as a console gamer who'd rather they continue to exist.

Killzone is hands down the prettiest game i've ever seen.

It wobbled when I put the USB cable in for the controller but I really don't care!

So far I am loving this console, the UI is amazing, sharing is so easy, download queue multiple downloads and everything the system is doing is so transparent.

The controller is so much of an upgrade from the DS3.

Sony is back and finally Playstation is back in my life after the PS3 I never thought they could deliver, oh how wrong I was.

Hmm, reading the Gamestop site and I'm guaranteed to have it by Christmas or so it says, I'm going to stop being impatient and get a good nights sleep + save £20 and travel+stress.

Being able to plug headphones directly into the controller is brilliant and I don't know what kind of voodoo magic gaikai did for remote play but bloody hell it works well.

Off to bed after playing Killzone and getting everything downloaded in the background.

First impressions.

Gorgeous looking console, quiet too. Downloads are lightning fast a clear step up from PS3. Pad is sublime. Stopped at the start of chapter 3 in Killzone which seems a very enjoyable stunning looking FPS, hoping the multiplayer is good as that will decide if I hold or trade. Don't be concerned about the wobble it takes a decent mount of pressure to get it to occur, can't see it being an issue when putting discs in the drive or general day to day use.

I fucking shat it when the controller started talking in Killzone, I completely forgot it had a speaker in it but it was very cool, very loud too!! a bit like Zombie U on the Wii U.

Reluctantly off to bed only so I can get up as early as poss and get back into this beast.

so i cancelled my PS4 order from may/june last week - not slept a wink, thought I'd have a quick look on hotukdeals and I have just ordered a PS4 and knack for £385 to collect tomorrow from Tescos - SO EXCITED!! (how am i gonna pay for this lol)
