Same here, Saint M. Got all the way to the end then No Stock. :(

Ah, for one beautiful moment I was planning my Saturday around going to a semi-local waitrose, picking up some nice food and a PS4 and then locking the kids and missus out of the front room whilst I indulged.

Now I have to spend the weekend around them :(

The wife has a snotty cold and the kids are whiny. :angry:

Damn them all.

(Now to play the waiting game with Amazon to see when 'before Christmas' comes)

And I'm home. Got a Playstation branded goody bag off the Sony rep. Includes: PS4 branded wrist strap USB stick, PS4 branded phone sock, and some other junk I'll sort through tomorrow after I've played the PS4 for a bit. Got to give props to Game, they were well organised, had plenty of consoles out to play on whilst we waited. In all, a rather good night was had.

bollocks.

so I went to surrey quays in SE London in the hope of getting a machine without a pre-order. no chance siree.

200 people queuing for GAME, with another 100 queuing at Tesco. I joined the Tesco queue and was told that when it came to their free stock, that they gave tickets to the people who started queuing from 6pm that day and only had about 20 tickets. this was on top of the c.45 pre-orders they received.

this launch is pandemonium! gonna be some muggings tonight I reckon.

I'm in Southsea but I come over to Soton for home games. Can meet you then if you are based in the city.

Fair play mate. Might be worth setting your alarm for around 5. Some on HDUK were saying that a second wave of John Lewis XBOnes went on sale early in the morning after selling out at midnight. There's a possibility it'll be the same for PS4 tonight.

You never know..

Queue wasn't that big at Game. There for 11.45, out again at 12.20. PS4's where available for those that hadn't pre ordered.

It's now sitting beside my Xbox One. It's amazing how small it is in comparison.

Update seems to have worked ok as well.

I'm getting up ridiculously early to be the first at the local HMV - or at-least I think I am, I'll see at 6am if I'll be ok waiting until Gamestop get their ass in gear. Can't play it until Christmas anyway but still, kind of feel like I've got to guarantee I get it...

You know what would be really classy? Having the 1.51 update on that USB stick.

That really would have been classy. Also got a lanyard and a poster. Ended up buying Injustice as well as it was only £22.50 WBW the PS4.

PS4 is set up and downloading Resogun and Contrast whilst I play Dark Souls on PS3 for a bit :)
