Picking mine up from currys tomorrow. Still cant decide what games to go for.

Must say some of my launch excitement has gone because of drive club and watch dogs missing the launch window.

Picking up assassins creed but still cant decide on killzone or not. Enjoyed it on the vita but not sure about the PS4 version. Looks nice but the footage hasnt blown me away for some reason.

Still umming and arrhing over NFS rivals. Loved hot pursuit but didnt get on with most wanted.

Whats everyone else getting?

Got an email from Argos that I am about to be a proud owner of a PS4 links to sony customer support if I need help setting it up

But no dispatched email.

My £7 copy of NFS is in the post from amazon.

If it does turn up not bad since I ordered on the 19th of this month

Yeah, it would have been even better if Driveclub and Watch Dogs had been finished for launch. But I've got Killzone, BF4 and Need for Speed on their way, and I have AC4 now, which will be my first proper go of an Assassin's Creed game! So that's more than enough for me. At least there's plenty to look forward to still as well :)

Just BF4 and Killzone for me along with the free stuff. I may have to trade Killzone for AC Black Flag at some point though

I preordered the next day. New hardware is just irrationally exciting.

Sorry, think it's been asked a million times but does that mean you can only sign in on a us account? Are there other downsides like getting chucked into us servers etc?

I rarely played online with my PS3 so I'm not sure about server connections. You can play your PSN+ US games on any account on your PS4 once you've downloaded them though, same as PS3.

Enjoy your consoles folks.

Despite telling myself that I could wait until the new year, I'm still wishing I had one coming tomorrow. Might take a walk to the local shops in the morning on the off chance, but otherwise I'm secretly (and probably vainly) hoping that I'll be able to pick one up from somewhere before Christmas.

It can't possibly be like the great PS2 console drought, can it?

My wife works in Chelmsford where my PS4 will be spending the night, so I asked her to keep an eye out on the drive in and to text me immediately if she spots a DPD van driving in the other direction down the A12.

It's a testament to my hype that she had to check if I was actually serious.
