My parcel is at Oldbury.

Hopefully the radiation will kill off any bugs.

Mine too but the suggestion is that its not been passed to DPD yet so maybe thats where shopto's warehouse is.

I really don't think they will be shipping early but by god if they do! I am in town tomorrow but my wife should be around most of the day.

So if usual DPD procedure is followed they should mail out at around 0700 in the AM with a delivery slot right?

I've had no e-mail from DPD, but I reckon we'll all get out PS4s on Friday. :)

Yeah I think we had better stand down. From the update it looks as though its just that the orders have been passed to DPD for collection tomorrow but not for delivery till Friday. Yet their systems are not used to that so it just says tomorrow. Bit weird but most likely explanation.

Have any of the people who are getting the mail for the 28th already had the dispatch note from shopto previously?

ShopTo haven't told me anything. All I know is DPD want to give me a PS4 tomorrow and I don't want to disappoint them.

I wonder if this means Sony has just gone "fuck it" and told postal retailers to crack on and get units moving, lest every delivery van in the UK be tied up shifting PS4s on Friday morning.

I feel stupid for forgetting to cancel my AC4 order when I cancelled the PS4 as it will not be until Destiny before I even think about buying the machine...

I'm not feeling the new gen at all though. It's a bit of an anti-climax, even DR 3 and that's pretty great...

It's all very exciting with the tracking numbers and the DPD ( whatever that is). I haven't made any sort of pre order,

It's like that time I went to the GTA midnight launch after my midnight run and ended up ahead of this guy from from work, who said "oooooh you've not pre-ordered?? lololo you're a dickhead" but I just walked up to the counter and got my grand theft auto before he did. And then I just went home and played it. before he did

However it seems these new Playstation machines are actually in high demand! What's everyone's plans without a pre-order?

I''m going down to the toughest Asda in the UK at 08.30 (Hyson Green), before work on Friday, I'm just going to walk in and get one.

Just revisiting this thread while F5ing my amazon order window, and for some bloody reason I had a childhood flashback to a song from sesame street:

Hmmm, I think it's time I got some sleep. Night all.

And don't forget, PS4 officially releases at midnight tonight!!!!
